Is that the same one thats on NEO's car? if it is i think its looks really nice, i wish they made one for the 06 gs but dont think it would look the same on an 06.

I hope so. I actually think the pic is somewhat misleading. The shot is take top down which hides how high the car is a little and reduces the fender-wheel gap a little. On top of that, it is a dark colored car and the middle of the car (where the sideskirts area) blends in with the dark shadow underneath. This gives the illusion that the car is not as high off the ground as it really is. Ultimately, it comes down to personal tastes. I am with the guys who think that 20s on a GS needs a bit of lowering. I would add that I think 20s need at least a mild kit. Again, that's just me. :) If you think it looks OK, then that's fine too since it is your car to mod as you please. (This is just in general and is not directed at blue06gs. :D) ← i would put a kit on it but i dont think there are any available for the 06 gs, are there?

my friend who drives a 2000 GS300 had the same exact problem and the same problem with discount tires. They told him the tires he put on were not meant to be put on a lexus so they swapped them out for another set of tires (at no cost) and the vibration was still there, no one could figure out what was wrong so he just upgraded to 20" rims/tires and he no longer has the vibration. sorry i dont have a specific fix, i honestly dont know what could cause the problem besides a loose bearing or the tires/rims are not balanced properly.

never had this problem but it sounds like it might be the brakes or ur rotors might be warped and need to be re-machined.

Heres my car. 2006 GS, not lowered and i think they look perfect. They rub a little in the front when making sharp turns but the tire only hits a plastic piece in the wheel well, not a big deal at all.....definately would rub all over if it was lowered. let me know what u think.

i haven't heard anything like that. i've also had a radar (passport escort as well) in all 3 of my cars and haven't seen any damage except for the suction-cup smudges that it leaves. not sure if i'm hurting that part of the glass but how often do you look through the glass where the radar is at anyways?

I have an 06 GS300, Blue Onyx Pearl with Cream interior and i LOVE it! i test drove the LS as well and didn't like the ride as much compared to the GS. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed with a GS. as for color combinations....I like mine or would also go with the Glacier White with Black interior.

i have a Blue Onyx Pearl 06 GS and i LOVE it! i got mine with the beige interior and think that its looks real classy, the only thing i dislike about it is that it picks up A LOT of dust so you gotta keep it clean, but when you drive a $50k car you better keep it clean anyways.

The rims i have on mine are DAAT DA52 20" chrome....the width on them i believe is 20x8.5 and i have 245/35/20 Nitto555 tires on all 4.... i'm currently having that problem about the low tire warning because the factory sensors in the stock rims wouldn't fit perfectly in these 20s i bought so i've just been dealing with the warning light....one of my friends that owns an aftermarket shop said some companies right now are in the process of developing sensors that will fit in the custom rims AND work with the lexus computer that monitors that stuff...i'll keep you guys posted... PS: anyone figured out a way to disable the DVD safety features in the 06 gs?

i'm pretty sure they dont, but then again i haven't tried it in my car.... the cool thing though is if you got the mark levinson navigation package it will paly dvds on the nav screen, but only when the parking brake is on and the car is in park....

How much is Gucci fabric???? and whats that cost to get done all together.... just curious.... thanks ← I had the gucci fabric put on all 4 doors where the inside door handle is as well as the middle arm rest and the back arm rest (the thing that folds down to separate the back seats) for $500 and that included 2 yards of the gucci fabric....The guy did a factory finish and looks awesome....i'll be taking pics of it on friday, if you want pics email me.....

hey 06gs430, i was wondering if you are having a "Low-tire pressure" warning light on your dash after you put the custom rims on? do u know of a way around this problem? Sux having a $50k car with that stupid warning....you think lexus would have thought about people putting custom rims on these cars

I am looking to see if there are any mods available for the new 2006 GS. I have a blue onyx pearl GS300 currently with 20" rims and the tail lights blacked out. I am getting gucci fabric put on the inside door handle on all four doors as well as getting my rims custom painted the same color as the car. I would like to hear what the rest of you guys with the new 06 GS have done to yours.

I hit 140mph racing my cousins 2002 Infiniti G35 (he was going about 130mph) down a road strip about 3 miles long with no street lights or anything....it was also about 2:00am!!! I drive a 2006 GS300 with 20" rims on it....The ride was so smooth i couldn't believe i was doing that speed. Maybe without the rims i could've hit a higher speed, but going 140mph is no joke...i can't wait to do it again!
