  1. I bought my 93 LS400 from a guy who just bought a beautiful MB convertable. He said it was a mid life crisis, but he really enjoyed the LEXUS ride over the MB. It made me smile and reasured me that I was making the right decision. Cheers to LEXUS!! Only bummer is I have been in the islands for 28 of the last 30 days. This means I miss my LEXUS and wonderful wife.. Wife first LEXUS second!
  2. The LEXUS is amazing you will enjoy every second!! Cheers to LEXUS
  3. No wonder it just sits there.. Thank you very much for the reply!! I really appreciate you taking the time to look into that for me!
  4. Anyone see this?? Please open hood and let me know where this goes.. Thanks
  5. ENJOY!! IT WILL BE GREAT!!
  6. I guess if I read all the details posted I could answer my own question! Thanks!
  7. I think you may be able to find one with 100k less miles for about 6,500 bucks.. Then you could have a great car for 200k.. One issue is every 100k they need timing belt and front end checked out.. Also if the power steering pump has not been changed check it out (they leak). Also when its cold the dash goes dark.. Ask about this.. Check the Laymens for Laymens buying guide.. Its awesome! Cheers and when you get it you will enjoy! Today I met this lady and she bought a new ES330. She loves it and says its very big compared to the 3 Series BMW.. I told her LEXUS is great and she will love it, but then tought about my LS and knew who had the better car!
  8. NICE!! I like your LEXUS!! The 98 to 00 is the best! So the 18" LEXUS wheels worked.. What dd they cost? Also I was curious what size tires 18/50? Finally does the exhaust or strut kit make a difference in performance? Seems LEXUS is already the best ride on the road! Cheers to LEXUS!!
  9. Porter-Cable 7336 6" Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander Only Is it worth getting the next model up for $5 more? I guess it does both sanding and then buffing? Just curious if anyone has experience with this model?
  10. I was sort of just exploring I just bought some 17" wheels and tires. I like them a lot, but yesterday saw a new LS430 and the wheels are awesome! I dont know if they are 18" or what, but really nice! Thanks for the offer and good luck to you.
  11. Will 00 or 03 wheels (rims) fit the 93? Have a great LEXUS day!
  12. Wow that is a lot of work.. GREAT JOB and nice LEXUS! How many miles does LEXUS have? Also this is a trick, but sometimes you need to attempt to tighten the lug/screw to get it loose. Then loosen it up. It usually works and is a trick we used in the Air Force. Cheers and enjoy!
  13. LS400's hold their value. Truly an amazing car for the money. On top of that you save on taxes and everything associated with the longevity! Cheers to LEXUS

  15. Curious how many miles? Did you drive the LEXUS hard? Good luck..
  16. Awesome! I love it! My master plan is to enjoy every day with my 94 and then in about 1 to 2 years buy a 98 - 00... They are wonderful cars and they last forever.. I think its so kewl to have two awesome cars side by side!! Right now I have one.. Only bummer is I have been in Puerto Rico for 2 plus weeks and now I am off to Alabama.. SO AHHHHH NO LEXUS!! Cheers to a real LEXUS the LS400/ :)
  17. Two screws in two minutes per side.. Cheers
  18. So I will buy that buffer.. Where is a good website to buy from? Thanks for all the great information.. The fender looks awesome!!! Cheers to LEXUS
  19. Hello I am about to start detailing my own car. I read the articles, but what is a good brand, size and cost of buffer to buy?
  20. Man awesome car.. How many miles? Did anyone have any luck cleaning the MAF? Enjoy the car.. What did you have before? Cheers to your LEXUS!
  21. Hey man kewl picture!! I remember I was in the pan handle and everything went quiet in my dorm. Then all doors flew open!! It was crazy.. Well the pressure dipped from a spout. Really kewl after the fact!! LEXUS IS AWESOME
  22. Sorry for the moment of pride for our president.. Since 2001 no bombs in America makes me happy! Off scale low (short or open).. Usually short since insulation rubs off and then wire grounds to frame, screw or metal. Also indicator it self can have a short. Cheers, Chris
  23. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/knowledge...ex_v2&id=50&c=9 This seems to be a good link in reguards to MAF sensor.. I am going to clean my now!
