  4. Have the dealer take one off a car in the lot and see if it fits ( just a thought ) Have them check earlier model part #'s against current #'s This should be a simple fix for any dealer. Is there any way of shaving the cap ? Good Luck and keep us posted on the results.
  5. Do this first: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=9 Then there is always seeking advise from a pro @ a local paint shop ??? Just clean the desired area. And shake the touch-up Paint and just touch the desired area with a 60 degree angle of the brush, Touch it once or twice only. Let it dry completely. Take your time... Get comfortable first. ;)
  6. What is wrong with your current cluster ? I know the usual suspects associated with lex clusters but a case by case is the best for resolve. More details needed. You should try the search function on these forums, Great tool, And well worth your time to investigate rather than post a Q that has been discussed in another thread.
  7. Well, I just thought I would post it because thewre have been multi-symptoms in regards to the hinge wiring. It is worth checking out. ;)

  9. Hi, It might be worth checking the brake light switch located on a bracket above the brake pedal ( you should also be able to overide the brake pedal and shift the transmission by pressing the red overide button at the front of the shift panel) Cheers, Steve 100 to 1 odds: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...hl=TRUNK+WIRING http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?act=Search&f=4 Hi, It might be worth checking the brake light switch located on a bracket above the brake pedal ( you should also be able to overide the brake pedal and shift the transmission by pressing the red overide button at the front of the shift panel) Cheers, Steve 100 to 1 odds: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...hl=TRUNK+WIRING http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?act=Search&f=4 Then there is always this: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?act=Search&f=4

  16. You owe me a beer If you ever come by Salisbury, NC just email me(or let me know any other way) and I got you covered. I'm not 21 yet, but getting the beer is not going to be hard. Thanx, As long as you get your system up and running , That is what counts.

  21. Welcome to the club As long as the nak system is a direct replacement, Then it is plug and play. No code needed, I've seen alot of stock systems come and go and I have never run across a secure unit. Don't worry. I think the code would be the last 4 digits of the key code of the donor car. Keep us posted on what you do.
  22. You need a 93-94 changer. Disconnect the neg. battery terminal before you start the changeout. Good luck getting a changer in good enough condition/time used/etc... If you can find someone who will rebuild the original changer that would be the best option, That is, If you want to keep the entegrity of the car and keep the original system in working order. Keep us up to date on this.
  23. Your Welcome. Its "you're welcome" ;) OK, So I am loc's #2 bad speller.
