  1. Not sure about the RX but i have IS rims on my ES and they did not fit with our spacers in the rear. the hole difference from rear to front wheel drive. well i add 3/16 spacers in the rear and got them to fit. i have had them on for over and year and 20000 miles and the wheels have not come off yet. i would not go bigger then 3/16 with out changing the studs though. sory i can not be more help Thanks for the help... how much did you pay for those spacers? like 20 bucks shipped from ebay i got the 3/16 inch ones thats all i needed for my clearence. i added washers till i had eought space then i took them off when i had enought and measured them thats how i came up with the 3/16. again i only put them in the rear i had enought space in the front. but when i turn the wheel all the way i get a little bit of rubbing. spacers might fix that but i would rather not run spacers on the driving wheels of the car \i have a tiny bit of rub with the tires i have now, but my previous tire i have has a stright side wall and it did not rub.5x4"-5x4.75"; 5x100mm-5x127mm will that fit?
  2. i locked my keys in the car, and i managed to break into it, but in one of my failed attempts i broke the driver side black piece. the one the goes between the front and rear window i need it and the 4 ithink clips. can someone help me find this part, cheap is good. work 12 hour shifts sucks....i gotta be 10 hours and leave in 9. thank you.
  3. i like the way my car handles with the 215/50r17, it changed the entore geometry of the care the car is very nurtral on dry roads, ever now and again it has some oversteer, but not much understeer has been noticed.
  4. I guess know one knows if these covers exist. never seen any, mine looks simular to yours.?
  5. Hi Toysrme, So you think I might not need the spark plug wires now? I would be nice! I have just want to replace the spark plugs since my car have a loudsy cold start (Compare to my Honda Accord and my father 97 ES300). Dealer says there is nothing wrong. Try a couple things did not work so I want to replace the spark plugs. Thanks, i replaced mine at 90k, i used toyota dealer wires for a 1mz camry.
  6. arnt the projectors cut wrong? ----\...... that is the japan cut and the us cut should be like ......../-------- cause the side the driver is on.
  7. buy u some 01 tails and the bumper looks fixable, but who knows u may of made 2500$
  8. THANK YOU! I hate when this little punks put plug-play HIDS in there halogen housings and blind people. Most people do it incorrectly and BLIND people. The only HIDS that are legal are factory or retro's. out side of that, read the laws. God, I love your posts. THANK YOU, i am not a little PUNK, I am a 45 year old Guy, president of my own web hosting company and a very hard working person. I thought this was a forum to get good , clean information, not a place to get flamed by people that don't even know me. they werent talkin about u......they were talkin about people who do this here is a pic of the h1 hid kit in a ebay f-150 headlight and a e46 on my yellow wall.
  9. haha u didnt bring that ava. over no more headache :P
  10. ebayor hidplanetor for some additional info hid info no need to change alt. but a wireing harness is a good idea, u can bulba good one for 20 bucks. here is a pic of my truck before i got the projectors adjusted correctly. here is a retro i did for a friend in va. here is a pic of my truck and another friend that lives near me. i went for the look atm me look, he went with the blacked out look. all are factoryt hid projector bulbs and ballasts. also retroed a set of ebay f-150 headlights wiht a set of e 46's.
  11. 93 has projectors stock , but they are halogen. u need to get a xenon(hid) low beam projector and a set of d2s bulbs and some ballasts (oem perferablly, alot better quality) u need to remove your headlights, heat them in a oven at 250 for 10 mintes and pull the front lens off. now remove the stck projector toss it in a junk pile and retro fit the hid projector in just that simple. adjust the projector and mount everything you are done... i have done that about 5 time my self. it is simple i even have a e46 low beam projector if u want it, it is small and compact. and should fit. the light out put will be alot better wider and brighter with a true hid projector compared to your stock halogen. for the projector and bulb it is like 160 then all u need is a ballast well 2 usually ~150 buchs so approx 300 bucks u can have a retro better than and keron kit ever will be.
  12. u still have stock h.i.d bulbs in? or has one been replaced? cause if only one has been replaced u can tell a big difference from the two. cuase i bet if u stuck two new bulbs in it would be brighter.
  13. grab a flat head screwdiver tape up the metal on the screwdriver so that it is harder to sscratch stuff. than on the two front edges pry up. they are two pop rivits that hold it down. once they pop up just pull the wholoe unit toward you.
  14. well i dont kow about the 02 but mine has a turn knob on the dash below the steering wheel like between my knees 2? 3u pop that cap off there is a lil button in casee your car gets locked in park.
  15. i like my 97 too.... fun on all the curvy roads. but it is no sports car..
  16. i got a question does our batter take up your entire battery tray? cause i can put a can of dr. pepper in mine beside the battery...
  17. I dont, Brandon does, his turbo comes in and out constantly. LOL, every time he tears his engine apart, his setup changes. he could have that turbo back on there and retuned in a day if he wants. My engine isnt turboed...yet...BUT, i am running an 11.0:1 compression ratio...on a STOCK intake. because i havent found anything less restrictive, or that gives more than a modest gain for the money. Oh, and a 90 degree angle is VERY restrictive. u would need to draw air from the bumper area to make it a littel bit effective.. i played around with a tacoma short intake on the car once, and found out with a little movin stuff around, there was aslight increase with the filter element down under the bumper . i always heard 6-12 inches away from the throttle body was best for the mas/maf
  18. mine did that when i had normal h7's in it... and it used to dim for a second after i back out of the drive and started to go foward...i dont know if it was of limate control or what but it use to..
  19. ui removed the stock tube from the stock air box that runs into the fender and under the fuse box...and i lost time at the strip......
  20. i noticed a difference in ride qualty when i put my 17's on...it rode rougher..
  21. that what i was thinking......55w is what i will get...
  22. i blew a fog light bulb...i had some blueish tint bright white bulbs in it off ebay that lasted a year... u i think i might get some yellow tinted bulbs for it.... would a 100w h3 bulb melt anything? or should i stick to 55w?
  23. in the led world those are called hot spots.
  24. Thats why the panoramic roof is an option. These are optitron gauges, they're just not as deeply inset as we're used to. Everyone is copying those gauges now, Lexus has to make them unique somehow. I meant with the tinting plastic; so the numbers stand out better and look more "black and white" the car looks likea tc and a avolon made a kid...........i dont know if i like it the nose is a lttle to my not liking..... but it is nice.... i still like mine cause it is paid for...
