  1. I keep watching that last scene and still laughing.
  2. Got lots time on my hands.
  3. This should work. http://www.lookatentertainment.com/v/v-30.htm
  4. I watched it. It's pretty funny. Those lazy kids should have just shoveled the snow. Try this. Watch to the end. http://www.lookatentertainment.com/v/v-30.htm
  5. It's most likely mold/mildew in the system evaporator core.
  6. You need the other file, the one that's over 1 meg. It was in one of the posts that got deleted. :D
  7. Cleanup on aisle 3~~ :D
  8. You say you had a brand new power steering pump that failed, then you went to Pep Boys. What was the resolution on the first pump, being as it was new? Who installed that? Could that be related to some of the problems with the second pump? Just curious as to problems with two consecutive pumps.
  9. Does the car leave a puddle of water when parked after the A/C has been running? If not, then the evap drain could be plugged. That would be the first thing to check.
  10. Who have you talked to? My 2002 IS300 originally came from Metro, but I got it used from Classic in Mentor. I think maybe the general manager would be more inclined to know what they can order and maybe more willing than a salesman. I got the first IS350 in the Huntsivlle, AL area. At that time the only options being shipped in this region was the 18" wheels and preferred opton group. Now the list of options includes more. Each region seems to have it's own distinct list of available options. Lexus doesn't build to order, but the dealer ought to be able to get dibs on a car like you want, and get it whenever it is built. From what I've read, the ML system was very scarce in the beginning, but should become more available after January. Hope this helps.
  11. Go to lexus.com and plug in your zip code on "build your own", and see what options packages come up.
  12. That's interesting cause I kept my 94 Firebird Forumula for 10 years and 100,000 miles and never a minute's trouble with it.
  13. Lots of dealers are getting MSRP, but I hadn't heard of any charging above that. Some are getting better deals by getting more for their trade-in.
  14. I don't know anyone that has figured out the no sensor problem yet, but several people are working on it. I'll report if someone finds a solution.
  15. The only 250 I've seen was automatic and it had wood on the shifter console. What I did notice was that the dash center stack, radio, etc was "titanium" and not wood. I haven't seen anyone on message boards yet who has posted interior pics with the 6 speed trans.
  16. Most IS300's do that. They say it's due to the "foating calipers". I could hear it under certain conditions on my 2002. If also seen it mentioned many times on other message boards. Mine would do that mostly when turning at slow speed like when I would turn into the driveway or into the gargage. At one time I had a louder noise from the same area, that turned out to be the right side sway bar mounting was loose where it bolts to the car.
  17. I finally found ome pix:6500K HIDs in my Kubota BX22 TBL. No loader or Backhoe installed this day. old lights old lights on left and HID on right HID lights HID lights on my front walkway ← That is just so cool. :D
  18. My cat enjoys it. :D
  19. I know from experience that a 2000 gs is incredibly reliable. I have had one bad o2 sensor, but that has been the only difficulty in 54000+miles of motoring. I not all that familiar with the IS, but I think the outgoing model looked like a civic with leather. The gs is more of a lux car - comparable to the likes of a jag s-type. Your choice, but I tend to believe you will enjoy more of the lexus ownership experience by purchasing a GS. ← What do you think of the new IS? Have you driven them?
  20. Our deionizer worked better after we started feeding it with water from a steam condensate line.
  21. Flat spotting is not size dependent. It's probably going to be more pronounced in colder weather though. Tires with a nylon belt overlay will be more prone to flat spotting. It it runs out in 3 miles or so, it's normal.
  22. Who would want to drive a $90,000 Volkswagen?
  23. Similar things happened when MB hooked up with Studebaker, back in the day.
  24. That is indeed unfortunate.
  25. Agreed, sure sounds like not enough power for the fan.
