I "would" get an 04 330 but my daughter wants the rx300..Since 2003 is the last year it was made, well...that's the one i'm loking at..... Anyway the 04 rx330's with the same features is over 36k @ inskip, RI. I bought MY 04 rx330 new in 04 for 43k. That had everything in it though...

6-7 years ago, wow... that car was pretty new then. Pretty fly car for a college student!!!! My first car in high school was a 87 tarus station wagon. Good for space. Then i had a Buick Century. That one was my high school pimp mobile. NOt that i realy miss it anymore ;) Ughh i had a buick in the 80's boy was that thing a POS !! who makes those things anyway ? GM? My wife had a 1997 bmw ..something......and she hated it. The transmission broke many of times, and the engine died in 03. It had over 240,000 miles on it, i can't say it didn't last long..but with a lot of help...!!! From this my wife got an 03 gs430. WOW was that an improvement! she sold it this year (79k miles) for an 05 es330 which in my opinion is even better than the gs in many ways ;)

I am really mad that the 400h won't have the wood on the wheel etc....The plain leather isn't as comfortable to hold; if you think about it, the steering wheel whould be the most important interior feature....It's the thing you're constantly in contact with LOL

It was one of the only two reasonably priced cars in town with a built-in navigation system. One other model was a good choice but its brakes took longer to stop and that kept driving me back to the Lexus. ← for the most part the lexus navigation systems are very good (except for the 05). But they get you where you wanna go! ;)

They are giving it the "certified" titile w/ the 3 yr warranty not like it actually needs it LOL. Last night he called me and said to come by this moring to look @ it. So i did and it's beautiful...I wasn't exactly expecting to buy it so soon, but i want a good one...The salesman said that it was "JUST in" so there wasn't an exact price on it yet :o but that it would be around $32,000 - $33,000......Is this good? Or should i keep looking....i have plenty of time; i was expecting to get this late summer into the fall..should i just say, "Hey i'll take it for 30k, take it or leave it!" Will they buy this? or tell me to take a hike LOL ? I'm not that desperate yet, just want to get the best deal.....This seems high for an 03, especially when i could get a new 05 330 for 7-8k more.... Thanks

True, low mileage does suggest all city driving; it could just be that the car was driven by older people who don't get out as much.....That's the #1 thing with buying a used car; you don't know how it was used b/f.

All i do know is that if you received an estimate, and it's that much more, it's not right for you to need to pay..That's a biiiggg difference!

Well, I was looking for a car and was having no luck with the amount of money that I had saved. So I stopped looking and prayed. :D All of a sudden I came across a 92 Lexus ES300! My prayers were answered when I saw the price. Its like it was a gift from heaven. Plus it was pearl and that ray of light shining on it didn't help LOL. The main deciding factor was as a first time driver, I could own a "luxury" car that used Toyota parts. I was amazed at how many parts it can use from a Toyota. So, the decision was easy. And I love the car! I feel like a million bucks after only shellin' out $2,960 LOL ← I swear the best cars on the road...I had a 92 es300 and loved every year i had it until i sold it in 99 for an rx300...That thing had over 220k miles on it!! ( a lot for me LOL) The only bad thing about it was the paint after i got into an accident in it ;) THE BEST CARS ON THE ROAD!! Even beat BMW and Mercedes-Benz combined!

The main difference b/t the 330 and 400h is the price and minor changes in the interior and exterior lights etc. The engine hives you very little better MPG, but better horsepower.

Welcome to the forum! Lexus' are the nicest cars out there in my opinion, and i have been in many different cars throught my life. I might not be an engineer or a car "builder", but i do know a lot about the various systems involved in how a car works. whatever i can do, i'll try ;) This forum is made up of tons of different people from all over the world who can help you with any questions you might have about your Lexus. that's why we're here..... just rememeber, as soon as you buy a Lexus, you can't turn back to a different brand LOL...It will be the best car you have ever driven...

If the manual says to use premium, use it.....when my wife had her 03 gs430 she put mid-grade by accident and there was even a difference...

I pre-ordered my 400h last year and asked that same question to my dealer..They didn't have a straight answer for me so i'l still looking into that. All i do know for a fact is that there are few states that actually let you drive on a seperate road in traffic if you have a hybird

Yup, I think you might have to try the LX or GX models for 4WD. Remember the RX is built off a car platform (Camry / ES) the others are pure truck platforms. B) ← that does make a lot of sense now...wow i'm stupid sometimes..... I looked at the gx and Lx's before i got my rx330. I didn't like them as much.....They seemed too big...i had a toyota Lando cruiser in 99 but i sold it within a month b/c of the gas...I didn't know how bad it really was until i used it personally..lol

and the dealer in Mass i used to go to gave me a problem with the 99 rx300 i bought. I specifically ordered that maroon color, and i came in a week later and it was a purple/blue color. I don't mean the black garnt pearl; i mean a mix b/t blue vapor, indigo ink pearl, and possibly white? It wasn't even metallic.....Ewwwww i don't even rememeber what they called it. also the deal for the Ls430 for my son didn't turn out as i planned. Long story believe me you don't care...

LOL you'd think wouldn't you..LOL All i get are newsletters....haha I don't think dealers like me very much though, i argue with them a lot and make a big deal when things don't go as i expected (therefore i just shouldn't wake up each morning LOL). So i guess they have their ways....

i thought about asking the dealer i used to go in Mass. (right near where i work) but i kninda have a thing against them..LOL A deal gone bad....
