  1. I suggest you get OEM replacement parts, then either hang these parts yourself or let a reputable body shop do this, and let them do the color matching and painting.....assuming that they have "State of the Art" color matching equipment. ;)
  2. Do you have the Mark Levinson sound system in your car? If you don't, then you can't play Video DVD's.
  3. Me too. Bought a Samsung monitor and threw it out 6 months later with light use.........p.o.s. I totally disagree!!! My graphic arts studio uses Samsung LCD monitors exclusively to do high quality photo editing in Photoshop, and after using them for over 4 years the image quality hasn't deteriorated in the very least, and not 1 dead pixel in any of them. At the time we bought these monitors they were considered the best LCD monitors available.
  4. All I know is that another Korean company, namely Samsung started out as a low end electronics company a few years ago, and now their reputation and quality products are tops! The same thing is happening with Hyundai, and with their marketing strategy I'm sure they'll make a big killing in the luxury automobile market.

  6. You're definitely right about the bird droppings. I think the birds have something against me, and they always seem to single out my car no matter where I park. LOL
  7. Quite a large pony. :) You realize that you could buy 2 ES's for what 1 LS would cost, but I'm basing this on a cash purchase, which is what I always do when buying cars. As they say, "Cash on the Barrelhead". LOL ;)
  8. I wouldn't go so far as to call the interior "terrible". You'll grow to like it. In fact, everybody that sits in my car loves the interior, including the dashboard. All these minor things are unimportant, as far as I'm concerned, since once I press the start button, and shift into gear and zoom off, I love this car even more. :)
  9. Left & right strut assemblies are different. Make sure you get the strut from the same side. ;)
  10. Was this done by a Lexus dealer....and if not, did they use Genuine Lexus parts? That noise is NOT normal! :whistles:
  11. My son bought me a Genuine Lexus car cover for my 1994 ES300. I used it once 'cause it was a pain in the butt to put it on, and when I took it off it had to be folded in a certain way so it would fit into the storage bag. Long story short.......I sold it on eBay! :P
  12. The ES350 is definitely not a "lame duck"! The largest percentage of people that bought the ES350 have had NO transmission problems. I bought mine the last week in April, 2007 and have had absolutely NO problems in all respects. I love this car......it's the best ES of the 3 previously owned models that I've owned. :)

  14. People can get hepatitis A, worms, and other pathogens from eating raw fish or shellfish. But I love it anyway.........I like to live dangerously. :P
  15. The dash indicator light will also stay on if the fluid level in the master cylinder is low.

    Help!

Illegal I'm going to report you to Bill Gates!
  17. I think it's faster than my ES350. :P http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x157l2_bu...on-at-top-speed
  18. $110 new from Park Place Lexus in Texas. click here. steviej $110 for a plastic bottle.....geeez! :whistles:
  19. Clean your throttle body and change the gas filter, also check tranny fluid level. Do not touch or remove any sensors on the throttle body...Happy trails. Did you, by any chance notice that you responded to a post that was made on 'May 20 2003, 08:45 PM'!!! I don't own that car anymore, and besides there have been 643 replies since then!!! You should read before you post!!! Your suggestions have absolutely nothing to do with the transmission operation on a "BRAND NEW CAR"!! :chairshot:
  20. No such currency: http://www.ezinearticles.com/?1000-Dollar-...?&id=432377 ;) Then how about 300 $100 bills. :P
  21. Good luck with your new Lincoln, but pop back here every so often and tell us your experiences. You're always invited. :)
  22. I could understand this, but not on a car that has a few thousand miles. Seals/o-rings are made out of materials that last a long, long time! :)
