  1. There is a coin holder on the left hand side of the lower dashboard.
  2. Your Lexus dealer sells a bracket that fits the front bumper. You then attach your front plate to this bracket. The dealer might give you this bracket free, because in some States it's required to use a front plate.
  3. Did you ever try adjusting the tone controls(equalizer) on the radio? Here you can boost the low, mid, and treble range to give you the sound you're looking for. ;)
  4. The pressure sensors are connected to the valve stems inside each wheel. The inflation information is sent to a control unit which displays the information onto your dashboard. So they would be battery powered, I assume? I don't know the electronics of this system. Maybe some one else can answer this question.

  6. .......and also the ML system which is only available on the UL ES350 Edition. In other words, the standard radio does not include a tape player even though you have nav.
  7. I have this aux input jack exactly where you said it should be, but I have a ML audio system. Maybe they don't have it on the standard radio.
  8. Hmmm....Weren't you the guy that had it in for Verizon awhile back? :P
  9. This is exactly why I'm waiting to buy a Sony Blu-Ray recorder/player. I'm a Sony guy, and I heard from the horses mouth that the next generation decks are in the offing. In the meantime, I'm using a Blu-Ray player that I borrowed from one of my guys from Sony Style. It's nice to have friends. hehe
  10. For $600 you should get a mink carrying case. LOL
  11. Last Spring my Verizon contract was up and I figured that it would be nice to get a Bluetooth enabled cellphone, since I could use it hands free in my ES350. At that time, in my area, I had the opportunity to get a RAZR 'FREE' with a 2 year renewal contract, although I opted to get an LG phone. Verizon constantly has changing deals on their cellphones.....from what I see.
  12. I'm curious. Which model HD/DVD player did you get, and why did you decide on that format rather then Blu-Ray?
  13. Since we're on the topic...the wind noise from the moonroof (when closed) has gotten louder and louder to the point where I have to have the shade closed while driving above 35 mpg. Since I like having the sun come through the glass this is unfortunate. It's an old car and the seal does leak a bit under driving rain (or an automatic car wash)...but is there anything to be done to quiet it? The moonroof surround gasket seal is probably dried up due to age. The only thing I can suggest is to go to a Lexus dealer to check how much they would charge to replace it.
  14. Check to see that your moonroof is completely closed, and also take your key out of the ignition.
  15. Good news for all you hi-tech freaks. :) Read> http://www.hdtvmagazine.com/news/2007/01/lg_electronics.php
  16. Thank you Scrub Hunter for your very generous offer. It'll be gratefully appreciated. :)
  17. Finally corrected spelling from, Assosciation to Association. So there! :P
  18. Life Today Stop it already! :chairshot:
  19. Hell, if my engine sounded like that I'd definitely bring it back to the dealer!!! Thankfully, mine is extremely quiet, whether cold or hot......and the build date is 3/06.
  20. No, it's not normal! Bring your car back to the dealer and register a complaint.
  21. I REALLY think this is the root of the problem, since this particular problem is not at all isolated to this particular Lexus model or transmission and the problem only exists on cars with the drive by wire throttle. Even the all new ES350 still has this lag in there, even though its a lot less noticable then on ours. Most cars I've driven with electronic throttles have this hesitation in varying degrees of severity. As you guys probably know, I traded in a 2003 ES mainly because of the shifting lag, plus other annoying characteristics of this transmission. My ES350 transmission on the other hand WITH an electronic throttle, shifts like a dream from any speed, whether slow or fast, upshifts and downshifts with virtually NO shifting lag, plus the car ALWAYS picks the proper gear, without a fuss, nor any kind of driver intervention........what I'm saying is I don't have to nurse this tranny to do what a transmission is supposed to do in the first place! Suffice it to say.......I'm completely happy with this new 6 speed transmission. Today I had a car full of passengers on a 75 mile trip through city and highway, and they couldn't get over how quiet, smooth, and comfortable this car is.....without a rattle anywhere. I absolutely love this car....it's a complete joy to drive. :)
  22. Since this repair has been recorded in the Lexus computer system, the first thing I would do is contact the dealer first, and then if you don't get satisfaction, call the Lexus Corporation. A job that was done incorrectly, even though it's out of warranty should be honored.
  23. There's always the possibility that you might have a small bit of oil leaking from your valve covers onto the exhaust manifold. You can sometimes tighten the valve covers, or replace the gasket(s) to stop this leak.
  24. If after you unlock the door you open and close a door it shouldn't relock itself.
  25. There is that possibility. Read>http://www.misterfixit.com/pcvvalve.htm
