  1. Not too sure...it seems like it may be painted on. About every foot or so the stripe is faded out and the regular paint underneath is exposed.
  2. I was browsing around on the web and found this site called expressautoparts.com. Parts here are at a fairly decent price and shipping is free for orders over $50.00. Theres a Verisign link at the bottom that shows they are a secured and actual business. Should I place my order? Thanks.
  3. The faded pinstripe on my car is really irritating me...does anyone know how I can remove it without harming the paint? Thanks.
  4. Mike, Email me at Thuan37@hotmail.com
  5. BOSCH - fuel filter, ignition wires....are they any good?
  6. Thanks. The deals were way too good to pass up. paying 4 grand more through a dealership isnt all too bad...I went with private parties. I saw another one for about 11,500 obo.
  7. He may find that the downstream O2S failure is uncommon but that doesnt mean they wont fail. If you're gonna change out the O2S yourself you might as well swap all of them out just for some peace of mind.

  10. Just bought this 95 for $8,100...original owner, near perfect condition with 99k. Also bought a 91 as a commuter for $4,000...2nd owner, PERFECT condition 139k. Not bad huh?
  11. Are you interested in selling the Nakamichi HU? PM me.
  12. Dont know if this will help but I was told that the majority of brake squeal can be overcomed if you grease up the caliper slides real good.
  13. Thanks. Exactly who is this guy? Any contact info?
  14. Im planning on finding one for about the same price but with higher mileage...not looking for the lowest thing out there. Maybe I could find someone that can take me to a dealer auction. I found a 95 with 99k for 9500.00..might just take up that offer but it wouldnt hurt to save a little more. BTW, I bought my 92LS for 4850.00...not a bad profit right?
  15. I sold it because its just a little too out dated for me...it ran real good and all but I felt 7200.00 was a fairly decent price to let it go for. Im looking to spend about 7000.00 give or take...just depends on how well perserved and amount of mileage on the vehicle.
  16. How old is your battery?
  17. I just sold my 92 LS with 92k for 7200.00. Im considering a 95 LS but not sure where to find one within my price range. Anyone with suggestions?
  18. You let air into your lines...you'll have to bleed the brakes until you get everything out. Youre NOT supposed to let the brake resevoir get to dangerously low levels while bleeding the brakes. Go to home depot and buy some clear plastic tubing (I believe 3/16" will work) you'll only need about 2 feet of that stuff, take the tubing and put one end over the bleeder nipple and the other into a jar with about an inch or so of clean brake fluid. p.s. if you tape a lug nut to the end of the tube that goes into the jar itll help keep the tube submersed in the clean fluid...that way you wont accidently let any air back in. Procedure for bleeding the brakes would be to open the resevoir and fill it up to the max, have your wife pump the brakes 3 times and hold it down on the 3rd pump, then you open the bleeder nipple 1/4-1/2 turn for 1 sec then close it, make sure she keeps the brake pedal depressed to the floor until you close the nipple, once its closed have her pull the pedal back up and pump the brakes 3 more times, open the nipple again...repeat that until theres absolutely no more air bubbles coming out of the clear plastic tube. Hope this helps you.
  19. oh yeah, make sure the coolant is very cool....you dont want coolant all over your engine bay and yourself. hope this helps.
  20. To check for a broken head gasket you could also do this, let the car cool completely down (in the morning for example) then open the water inlet bolt and start the car...look for bubbles coming up indicating a broken head gasket..if you dont see any then take a step further and elevate the rpm to 3000 rpms and continue looking through the inlet for bubbles...these bubbles if any will indicate a broken head gasket and will look something like if you took a straw and blew threw it into a cup of water.
  21. To test them you have to dissasemble some of it...use a DVOM to test for resistance and so forth. If your car has high mileage and the original secondary ignition system still in place it would be a good idea to replace those parts. They dont last forever afterall...they may seem to be in working order but might not be working at 100%.
  22. If its the alternator thats suspect you could just disconnect the battery while the motor is running....if it still runs then the alternator is still working..the battery may just not be holding the charge.
  23. Why dont you try one of those wind deflector things, not really my taste but may be yours.
  24. Like Dainak said, the wheels probally just needs balancing or it could be the tire itself thats causing the problem. Theres a bunch of no name antenna's on ebay going for around 30 dollars.
  25. My car has 92,xxx miles on it. I live in California and its been 100 degrees where I live. I have 10w-30 in there but I think its causing my car to kind of hesistate on the first start up of the day....but it starts up just fine the rest of the day. Are you sure 5w-30 has more additives if any?
