1996 Ls 400 Air Conditioning

Hi, I have a 1996 LS 400 in Los Angeles

210,000 miles the car runs great! My problem is the air conditioning blows with a very low volume of air. I have replace the cabin filter with no improvement. Any ideas?? Any estimate what it should cost to be fixed?

Can you manually turn the fan up to its highest speed or is the fan speed stuck on low?

Are you low on freon causing the evaporator coil to ice up and block airflow? A common problem with ACs.

After car sits for a few hours (i.e. ice melts) do you get good airflow but after driving for say an hour or so it loses air flow?

Check motor per #2 above.

Is the air inlet duct blocked with crud?
