I agree, get the struts done. Cheap fix. Otherwise people will be looking at your hood instead of your new shiny wheels.

Well, I put the old one back on, and the hood is fine, so I need at least one lift. anyone have one or two? billydpowell@verizon.net

Looks much better! :cheers: Until you get the lifts, just use locking vice grips on the old struts whenever you have to work under there. Or use an old hockey stick between the hood latch and the the bottom latch.
