SW03ES
They really are not expensive cars to insure, even brand new ones. Because of the, ahem, somewhat advanced age of the average owner, there are very few insurance claims filed for them.

SW03ES
Thats actually not HTML, its a forum software derivative of HTML used by most of the major bulletin board softwares like UltimateBulletinBoard, vBulletin, and Invision Power Board (which is what we use). Its IPBCode, aka UBBCode and vBCode. HTML is MUCH more complicated lol. There are tutorials about how to do all thats stuff imbedded in the proper sections, look around for them. bartkat
When you cover the vehicle itself, then the value of the car comes into play and makes the rate go up.
jainla
Yes but the LS is still comparatively cheap to insure. I compared the rates for an LS, an Acura TL and a Toyota Camry (with Geico oddly enough). Accounting for comp/collision and the whole shebang the LS was less than 10% more than the Acura or the Camry, despite having a higher replacement value. bartkat
100/300/50 on mine is $126 for six months. That would be $21 per month.
SKperformance
You guys are getting away with murder. It costs me $2500 a year for full coverage on my LS I DON'T HAVE ANY TICKETS OR ACCIDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! How i hate the insurance industry. I intend to get my money back by rotoating my 4 cars on and off ,on weekends which means they will have full coverage when they actually get driven but i don't have to pay for it anymore. akewlguy
First what I typed is HTML. I have built web sites for 10 years. A website starts at <html><body> and then you put in what I did and more.. Then one closes all the commands including <body> <html>... It is a simple programing language. The point about the $20 dollars is that there is no other 90-95 that looks like a luxury and costs less then a kia to insure. I feel like the smartest guy in town. Go here and look at HTML: http://www.cwru.edu/help/introHTML/toc.html Also SK what year is your LEXUS? Try to call Geico. I have always got the best deal with them. But like I said, the Camry is not much cheaper by comparison. Insurance is very expensive in large cities I guess. CA is bad, but try insuring a car in Miami. Unreal. If you try to type out HTML in brackets on a website it wont work, and if you try to type true HTML with carrots here it won't work either. This is the HTML Image code: <IMG SRC="URL of graphic"> This is the IPBCode Image code: URL of image[./img] Like I said, its IPBCode and its derived from HTML, but its not HTML. SW03ES
I agree, an early 90s S class would probably be the same cost when only insuring for liability. The car you drive does matter, they look at how many injury claims have been filed against drivers of your car but not as much as it would be if you were insuring for collision. akewlguy
I have two cars and total for 6 mths is less then 250.. When I add extra coverage it goes up about 100 bucks.. So that is 300/2 = 150/6 = about 25month.. I dont care if I am driving a pinto that kicks some butt! The truth is I dont care if there has never been a claim filed against a LEXUS (since people are so freaking nice when they see you coming) or if all LEXUS drivers are saved when they smash into or someone smashes into them. LS400's are awesome and I would pay 100 a month for insurance and 100 a month for taxes. The fact is for the whole year I pay less then $500 bucks. Wait I forgot the sales tax and registration for less then $220 bucks. I LOVE MY LEXUS!
nc211
Sounds good to me man. I'm with USAA and pay about $80 a month for complete coverage, plus some jewlery and other personal items. I love USAA. Freakin' Mork could crash his spaceship into my car and I'd have a check in hand the next morning. Now taxes...well, that's a different story where I live. Wake County, NC sucks! But not as bad as Johnson County, KS! Those foo's want your first born for a freakin' moped.

sha4000
my wife and i have a 2004 yukon and my 98ls with full coverage in ga. we insure through geico and both cars are a little under 1k. the taxes for the ls were $360 while the yukon was $500+. i thought once we moved to ga. it would be much cheaper than this since im always hearing how cheap the rates are down south. im not really complaining b/c thats about 1k cheaper than in jersey and a whopping 6k cheaper than what i was paying for my 91ls in nyc back in 96. but it still hurts to see some of the rates some of you guys are getting

TexasLexus94
48 bucks every six months for 100/300 liability and 50,00 pd. Only drive my 94 LS once a week. Have a little Mazda beater for the big miles. In Nevada, drunk driver heaven.
