BALOO BELLE
im 27 w an 02-300. I was 26 when i got it. I had it shipped from CA to FL cause it was the exact car i would build in any make brand new. the problem is that kids that live on there OWN cant afford a new lexus so they buy older ones cause they have the toyota award winning reputation 250,000 and still ticking.....plus parts are more affordiable and available through aftermarket with higher age so they can mod them and have more choices The lady that had my car was 52. I love the luxury I'm a princess but, I do miss my turbo! But I would rather have this granny car no one else my age that lives alone has one...at least around me. no need to speed i just coast everywhere

leonmot
54 have 2002 ES300. Black with tinted window. chrome wheels! Awesome car. I plan to upgrade the stereo with a Pioneer AVIC-Z3. I love to tell people I drive a LEXUS. I do have a fun-in-the-sun car. 1980 MGB. It was a little slow so I stuck Buick 215 V8 HiPo in it. Now that's fun! Kyle Petree
I'm 19 and I have a 03 ES, I bought it last year and I love it. Although I was promoted since then so I'm hoping to pay it off fast and get a brand new one... I can already smell that new car smell. It's nice because all my friends drive crappy cars and then I tell them that I have a Lexus and they just look at me in astonishment. WhiteLex00
I'm 18, with a 2000 ES300. I have a white (top) and silver (bottom) one, but waiting till summer to respray it and put on some different rims. As of now, everyone in my community that I grew up with compliment me on having such a nice ride, and they like to make remarks on how I drive a Lexus, and should be able to afford anything. I just started college, and people that don't know my name calls me Lexus.

Santosh Tiruvan
Lexus' target for the ES isn't 35, they're lucky if they get 35 year olds in the IS.It does have a lot to do with age, similar cars in price range like the 350Z, Infiniti G35 coupe and sedan, Acura TL, a myriad of different sports cars fall within the 30k-40k range and they all have lower average age drivers than the ES. You can get a - G37 base (with comes with almost everything) for $32,000 - 350Z isn't really in the same class - TL for $34,000 loaded The ES350 starts at $35,000 and leather is optional (add $3000). So unless you are the founder of Wordpress/Facebook /<your favorite company here> etc. you will be able to afford a Lexus ES 350 around 35 at best. Santosh Tiruvan
Hi,I am 23 years old. I purchsed my 02 ES300 when I was 22. ALl my friends nagged me by telling me it was an old man's car. I didn't care, I got a lot of bang for the buck! As I drive my lexus everyday I notice one thing, all of the other ES300/330 drivers are much older than I am. I am talking primarily the 02 and up models. I look much older however not as old as the ES drivers around me. Any thoughts? Maybe its just every ES300 in my neigborhood, or NY for that matter. I see a lot of younger guys driving the first generation ES. This won't make me switch cars, just maybe get tintied windows. So this is why I am curious to the ages of our memebers. java script:emoticon(' ') smilie I was 30 when I bought my 98 ES300 in 2007 with 119,059 miles. Currently at 133,xxx miles making it's owner smile with every ride!
