Use paint that can stand high temperature. I use the Engine Paint sold at Auto Zone. They were out of Red at that time so I pick this color. Its not that bad :D . Hope this help you guys.

The cheapest and easiest way to paint calipers is get a can of Rustolium spray paint in what ever color you want. The trick is to use paint designed for BBQ pits (yes there is even red). There should be no heat issues then (the paint is rated to like 100 million bajillion degrees or somthing like that). A can will run you $5 - $6.

As for the color red looks really cool but is so overdone. Even GM has started painting the calipers red on the new GTP. I think its funny that the reson everyone likes red calipers is Porshe's have had red BREMBO calipers for years, and one of the few cars with Brembos from the factory (350Z Track) doesn't have them colored red.

The best long lasting caliper paint on the market is made by Folia Tec. The red is awesome! Part Number 2160. Comes as a complete kit unlike using multipurpose high temp paint. Requires a 24hour cure time. www.rpmsuperstore.com
