Hey guys well I owned(well still do) a 1992 black sc400 if you guys remember. I just recently found a steal on another car. I got a 1995 SC300, red with black leather and......5spd! I love the car, got it for $7K. Has 124k miles on it, pretty good condition just need to like clay and buffer the car and get some scratches and things out, but the leather is really good shape. I am having my sub installed this weekend from my old car, the jl 10w6v2, and I will tint the car hopefully very soon cuz it needs it. The only thing I have done is installed silverstars and all new lights, except fog lights which I love, and I just switched air boxes out since I did the bfi on my old one. Ne ways here are some pics, hope you like it! I am gonna put one pic for now, and see if i need to resize them or not.

I went and looked at it today and it is sooo nice, wow I knew that black leather was nice, but damn it was niiice. Leather was is really good condition, just a few minor scratches and such on the paint, engine was clean, clutch and tranny were nice. So it's official now, put a down payment on it today and picking it up tommorow. :) :) Turbo here we come!!! Ok so I currently own a black 1992 sc400. I have been looking around at other sc's and come upon a very nice one. The price is very good considering the year and everything. It is a 1995 sc300 5spd with 127k miles, red with black leather, it is in very good shape, all the goodies cept no cd changer (booo). So I was wondering would you guys buy this car and replace it for your 400 if you were in my shoes, it is close to the same price I bought mine for. Oh and another reason I want this car is because I want to turbo it over the summer :)

Hey Clightning, what do you mean by round edge tips? what kind are mine? Where can i find some? The mufflers now are magnaflow ss w/tips 14829's.

I haven't tried to fit it in, but I know right now that it wouldn't fit, the magnet on the sub is huge. There is no way it would clear the gas tank. Thanks AWJ for the compliment, wanna make an offer ne ways lol

The sub is a JL audio 10w6v2, a step below the w7 series.

The wheels look a lil ghetto I think but I do like them and my system is "ghetto rigged" i guess you could say, just cuz of it's sloppy set up right now.

In the near future I am hoping to buy a dragon torque converter, the best price I have found is on lexuspros.com. My only question and concern is how much it will be to install it. Any ideas? Or your own experience?

Naw not harsh man, thanks you are right about the wheels, looking like white walls. I was actually planning on putting the amp back where it was mounted, i just need to get a longer wire, but i wanna keep the sub there just cuz it sounds soo much better than in the trunk. A few different kind of wheels that I would like to put on my car, 5 spoke wheels like the is or gs, or some kind of black rim with a polished silver lip, or some kind of racing wheel( i call them that, not sure if that's what they are)that is bright silver with multiple spokes like 10

Here are some pics of my car. I wanna hear your guys opinion on my car, more especially on my wheels. They are gold bbs wheels, that the previous owner put on the car. I was thinking of maybe getting the is300 or gs400 wheels, but I am not sure, prolly won't do wheels till next summer. There is a pic of my system kinda ghetto rigged up now cuz I didn't like how it sounded in the trunk. Do you like my exhaust angled out like they are? Any other thoughts and ideas are appreciated! For those of you who have a system, with a sub/subs in your trunk, do you have alot of rattle or anything? If so did you just dynomat it and that fixed the problem? Just asking cuz I am getting a sub installed next week, jl audio 10w6v2. Thanks

Yeah well I knew I needed those, because of steering jerking to one side or another when I hit a bump. But will that solve the noise? I might as well get new springs, and lower it an inch.

To not lose low end power, go with 2.25 inch piping. The magnaflows were pretty easy for the exhaust shop I went to, to install. They had no problems putting anything on. Plus the magnaflows look great and sound awesome once they break in all the way. Mine took at least a month.

I have noticed lately that whenever I go over my speed bumps at school, I hear a squeaking noise, sounds like it is coming from my springs or something. Does anyone know what this could be?

So what kind of performance if any did you get from the tranny being adjusted to shift better, what exactly did you do to it? Where did you get your clear bra and how much? Can u tell it is on there? I really like your lights btw.
