moocowman
Anyone have any opinions on lowering springs for my 98 GS300? I'm thinking Eibach or H&R to lower about 1.25-1.5 inches.
Supra-chargedIS340
ive got eibachs on my car and im happy with them.........
-bEn-
EXCELLENT CHOICE! I have Eibach lowering springs for Lexus. Once you decide on them don't for get your coil-overs. I have Tein HA Coil-overs. :)
Black_2000_GS300
How much does it cost to have the lowering springs installed? Can you get it done anywhere or does it need to be done by Lexus?
Black_2000_GS300
-bEn- Can you tell me more about your Turbo? Where did you get it from? Does it void warranty? How much does it cost? Thanks...
Supra-chargedIS340
you should be able to get them fitted at any good auto shop
xsuperjoex
Bro the H&R's are way better than the Eibach!!!...plus they are lower!! The quality is awesome from the H&R's those are the ones that I had in my 400. It will cost you anywhere from $100-200 to get installed depending on the shop and where you live. exactvox
H&R and Eibachs are the major brand in the industry. Both are reliable and comfortable, but I have to choose H&R over Eibach, since it's lower and still comfortable. If you have been lowering honda/acura cars for awhile, the lexus is basically another day, but a little more work. Must have a good spring compressor for this one. Usually, shops charge about $80-$150 to lower a car. Turbo kits, I would go to SP Engineering in So. California. Best shop around, did my friend's supra there. Awesome job! -Jay
AWJ
I'm looking at JIC FLTA2 coilover set-up. [homersimpson]MMMM.... adjustable[/homersimpson]
zeta
that'll be a nice setup, AWJ. adjustable coilovers would be the best choice in my opinion, but you can't do much about not having enough money to afford 'em. :)

zeta
well i'm still a high school sophomore... so i don't have a job yet. hoping to get one this summer. i've been trying to think of places that would be hiring, but it's pretty hard with the US economy so bad these days. oh well. i guess i'll have to just save up for my SC/GS/IS :) and save the money off the ES. :D
gslx4s
Anyone have any opinions on lowering springs for my 98 GS300? I'm thinking Eibach or H&R to lower about 1.25-1.5 inches. Both springs would lower the car to the numbers you stated. Both companies make great product. It all depends on when you go to buy them as to what the shop has in stock. Bottom line: witch ever one you go with will do the job.
