  2. O2 sensors changed. still no help with rough idle. car starts fine. Lexus claims it's due to faulty fuel injector system flooding the right cylinder bank. they claim fuel injection system is unavailable. any ideas? spent about $4500 to fix and still have the problem could you a little advice. thx / Rog
  3. Thanks! I have done reprogrammed the windows for sure. I'm going to start looking at a junkyard, but it'd be awesome to find an aftermarket.
  4. A bit of an update. Have had the LS460 on a battery tender all winter. Car hasn't been driven for about 35 days, prior to unplugging the tender. Took it off two weeks ago as I was going away and didn't want to plugged in while I was gone. Got back, measured the battery voltage, still at 12.67 after 14 days just sitting. So the good news is, for longer term sits the car must go into a deeper sleep than what I was first measuring. Once it has sat un-driven for a month or so, the draw must drop to nearly nothing as 12.67 is virtually a fully charged battery. If the draw had remained at even 40 Milliamps, it would have drawn it down more than that. So a battery in good condition, and a car stored in heated indoor storage, no alarm armed, appears to be able to sit for very l;ong periods of time without flattening the battery.
  5. Good point. I often can find an electronic version of the service manual, but there are cases when only article/video comments are found. I guess we can say that those should be taken "with a grain of salt". Thanks for your comments.
  6. When this light comes on, it’s important to get your vehicle inspected by a professional as soon as possible to prevent any potential damage. It’s hard to say exactly what the issue is without a proper diagnosis. Your Lexus dealer or a trusted mechanic should be able to read the specific error code from the OBD system and determine the exact cause of the problem. That being said, I should also advise you to check or have checked your battery. Sometimes a failing battery or even a cell with no visible liquid in it can cause very strange warning lights to illuminate.

  10. Report this to NHTSA as a safety and security issue. Lexus not sharing all the info, campaign is no longer listed on the app. I think they are trying to stuff the digital key down our throats, glitchy and unsafe as it is. Its all about profit.......
  11. I have a 2024 NX350H and I haven't noticed undue pressure needed. It does have to be pressed a fair bit -- probably much more than what it takes for the brake lights. Have you done a distance measure of the brake pedal to see the difference between brake lights and shifting? I'll have to check mine.
  12. I am really interested in great car audio. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to set the treble, bass and midrange as well as how to balance the speakers to get the best sound from the driver's seat?
  13. Looks fantastic. You must have some fab chops 👏
  14. What are the Possible Causes of the DTC P1127 Lexus? NOTE: The causes shown may not be a complete list of all potential problems, and it is possible that there may be other causes. Faulty Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Actuator Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Actuator harness is open or shorted Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Actuator circuit poor electrical connection Read more: https://www.autocodes.com/p1127_lexus.html It may be that locating the specific cause is not exactly simple for the doityourselfer.
  15. Report to NHTSA as a safety and security concern. Digital key is not the answer - just more revenue/profit for Lexus ar our expense.

My Lexus rx300 is immaculate only done 47000,full service history ,showroom condition inside and out ,been unused for 15 years due too illness, car used once a week for local shopping it’s mint condition, still new too look at,2002 first registered, timing belt done by Lexus only about 1000 miles ago, because of cars age, brake pads are renewed, good for 150.000 miles, would swop for Bentley, you won’t buy a better car then mine,
  19. I have a 2014 gs350 fsport, rwd & am replacing all 4 pads & rotors & was looking for a recommendation. I've done tons of research on Amazon, eBay, forums, etc. im getting mildly overwhelmed w all the did things I've read.
  20. It looks like this sound was not present when you bought the vehicle? Is your RX still under warranty? If there is a Toyota-equivalent vehicle, then typically the service cost would be less expensive than at a Lexus dealership. I've had our spark plugs and coolant changed at our local Toyota dealership. Its reduction in cost for the maintenance tasks were significant.
