  1. I've owned 6 different Lexus vehicles since 1989, and never had a problem until now. The recall letter from Lexus says my 2021 RX450H is recalled because of a faulty passenger seat airbag sensor. It states not to have anyone in the passenger seat until it can be repaired. Obviously, this is to make sure Lexus has no liability it the sensor fails, as well has preventing injury to the passenger. This significantly limits the use of my car for several reasons. I called Lexus' service department where I purchased the car, and they have no clue when a fix will be available, and it's been over 2 1/2 months. In the meantime, I'm limited to taking only 2 passengers in my car, which means that for group outings we will need a second car, increasing gas costs and parking fees. Second car is a two-seater! Has anyone heard when Lexus will have a fix available?
  2. I have to agree...seats are not that comfortable in my 2021 RX450H (appear to be the same as Golfgirl's). The seats in my 2015 RX350 were more comfortable. And the seats in our 2006 LS430 were really, really comfortable.
  3. I did buy the extended warranty (10 years) for my 2021 RX450H. The only reason I bought it is because of all the computerized electronics on it, and I wanted the computer chip replacement covered in case there was an issue after the regular 4 year warranty ran out. I believe the warranty cost me less than the cost of chip replacement. Don't know if it was a good decision or not. I've always owned Toyota or Lexus vehicles, and only once had an issue when a sensor on my 2015 RX350 failed 2 months after the 4 year warranty ran out, and the repair was out-of-pocket.
  4. I paid $1200 at my Lexus dealer to replace the damaged passenger side mirror on my 2021 RX450H. Ouch!
  5. I also have a 2021 RX45OH. I was told by two Lexus service centers that although the vehicle would probably run okay, using regular unleaded instead of premium would invalidate the warranty if there is an issue with the engine.
