  1. Thanks for that, I spoke to a Lexus service dept. and he stated that it's normal to firmly depress the brakes to shift into a drive mode, really annoying but I'll have to get use to it. The pre fly by wire system is so much better and user friendly.
  2. The brake lights work with light pressure, it's the excessive brake pressure in my opinion, perhaps others may not see it as being excessive but I'm used to the old mechanical linkage shifters and not the computerized shift by wire in the new NX350, perhaps it's normal but annoying non the less.
  3. Hi, Just bought a '23 NX350 and the shifting into Reverse or Drive has me wondering if I made a wise purchase, does anyone know why one has to step on the brakes so hard to shift into R or D or is there an option on the infotainment display to lessen the brake pressure to release the shifter interlock? Thanks much for any info on this "issue"
  4. Purchased '08 RX350 with 64k miles (102,500 km's) so far so good no timing cover leakage, just for good measure I replaced the PCV to ease any potential crankcase pressure buildup which may put pressure on the internal gaskets and RTV purhaps that'ssomething that's overlooked.
  5. Hi a newbie to this Forum, I'm confused in regards to a timing belt or chain on a 2008 RX350, I've always believed that the 2007 and above RX with the 3.5 L engine has a timing chain yet on this Forum someone stated that it has a belt, perhaps the belt is exclusive to the RX400H and not the regular RX350 ?
