I have a 2024 NX350H and I haven't noticed undue pressure needed. It does have to be pressed a fair bit -- probably much more than what it takes for the brake lights. Have you done a distance measure of the brake pedal to see the difference between brake lights and shifting? I'll have to check mine.

Sounds like might be a brake light switch that needs adjusting. Do you brake lights also wait until you press hard to come on?

Manual says if you "lock" the doors they cannot be unlocked within 3 seconds. So either press the lock on the fob or use the lock button on the gate and see if that works.

There a noise -- perhaps a fan or such that seems to turn on at low speed -- it stops once over 15MPH or so. Then it will come on again at a stop and turn off again accelerating out of the stop. Doesn't seem to come on at all when up to speed. I've done this with the A/C off too to make sure it's not that. Any ideas? Kind of annoying when demonstrating how quiet the car is and it's whining at you.
