    • My default temperature is 75, but I want it to be 72.  How do I change it?
    • Luckily found a fresh wreck on ebay being parted out. Before pics show same sag on the rear so a new set of KYB everything will probably do just fine. Front sag with the s h i t t y quick strut springs should be fine with all of the other new parts. Only has one side for the fronts available... damn, but as time goes on the Lexus-only parts for this year and model are getting harder to find. Damn cars just don't go to the scrap yards (not a bad thing) and I am NOT paying dealership prices if I don't have to.
    • If you do not want to modify your amplifier (take out line signal and feed that into an amplifier with 4 out) so you can use the 4 speakers you can find, there is another solution. Find 8 mid-range bass loudspeakers (eBay is listing more than 100) and modify (or have a pro do it) the doors. Can be made so it looks OEM, and the car will still have plenty of room for your legs. I had 7x10" speakers in my Honda Accord Coupé as the built in 6x9 were not giving the sound I was looking for and nobody could see they were not from factory. 8 speakers: https://www.ebay.com/itm/145753669626?_skw=8ohm+car+loudspeakers&epid=9032091292&itmmeta=01JCNDSGCSDJNMX4B7C0EKRZFH&hash=item21ef987ffa:g:UykAAOSwwB5mqPuX&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnA%2F5Ybjq8aFa1foNBfcMvW3CVEnVFwEv9EdMj9fo4chEd9N5xSJOebgLyohZx1M2RCeGAMzcuaRQ20b%2BUyqs2cfNYTMBgbJYcFifQcDaaDXABE%2B3%2FckwWC6ry7UKTVj0sd2cYR9p7agSLd6LqABer%2Bms8lpWb7zvZW9tAdNBHKkD4Mp%2BEPZQp0W3LKfmhv%2BBqII6H9jQoQRWcmyj0bb5hu6vjrRQUnBFPa1y%2B8JTchFqckcOOoHp6w2Kx98t9Y4FiPk6b8YivqfTYPiZMKrGZxyNcx6an8dcf7aYwkq32fXw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBMvobmreVk https://www.ebay.com/itm/145753669626?_skw=8ohm+car+loudspeakers&epid=9032091292&itmmeta=01JCNDSGCSDJNMX4B7C0EKRZFH&hash=item21ef987ffa:g:UykAAOSwwB5mqPuX&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnA%2F5Ybjq8aFa1foNBfcMvW3CVEnVFwEv9EdMj9fo4chEd9N5xSJOebgLyohZx1M2RCeGAMzcuaRQ20b%2BUyqs2cfNYTMBgbJYcFifQcDaaDXABE%2B3%2FckwWC6ry7UKTVj0sd2cYR9p7agSLd6LqABer%2Bms8lpWb7zvZW9tAdNBHKkD4Mp%2BEPZQp0W3LKfmhv%2BBqII6H9jQoQRWcmyj0bb5hu6vjrRQUnBFPa1y%2B8JTchFqckcOOoHp6w2Kx98t9Y4FiPk6b8YivqfTYPiZMKrGZxyNcx6an8dcf7aYwkq32fXw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBMvobmreVk
    • There are 4 ohm speakers available for about $50 on line. You will need to add a 7 ohm resistor in series with either leg of the speaker wiring to compensate for the 4 ohm mismatch. It’s very easy to do and the resistor can be acquired on line also.  Get a quarter or half watt rating   Cover it with heat shrink. The combination will match the 8 ohm impedance of the original speakers.
    • CoPilot:  Starter vs. Water Pump Replacement Since both tasks are quite involved, it's generally a good idea to start with the starter replacement first. This is because the starter is located in a more accessible area compared to the water pump, which requires removing many components like the timing belt, pulleys, and possibly the intake manifold. By tackling the starter first, you'll avoid having to reassemble and then disassemble parts again. Cluster Gauge Map As for the cluster gauge map, I couldn't find a specific map for the 1991 Lexus LS400, but you might be able to find it in a repair manual or by contacting a Lexus dealership for detailed schematics.
