  1. Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts are reputable sellers. You can also try RockAuto.com.
  2. Holy cow. At $234, why don't you just go to a junkyard and get one?
  3. You can check with Carson Toyota (Google it for the phone number), or you can try IronToad.com, or RockAuto.com.
  4. Haha, right on!!!!! They look really cheap!
  5. Stop talking like that!!!!!!! :chairshot: :chairshot:
  6. If you want to keep the stock feel (ride quality, etc.), you better stick with Lexus/Toyota genuine parts. However, for certain suspension pieces that don't really affect the ride quality that much (sway bar bushings, upper strut mounts) aftermarket is probably fine. RockAuto.com is good for aftermarket, but irontoad.com and Carson Toyota are good for Toyota parts.
  7. According to this post: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...st&p=356402
  8. Okay! In my haste, I decided to get the S speed rated Yokohama Avid Touring S tires. Sorry Blake! :) I will let you know what I think about them!
  9. Argh... so difficult to decide. Anyone else have an opinion? I'm trying to order tonight!
  10. Another simple search provides this thread: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=29107 It's an aftermarket radar detector that has been installed on your car. Thank you, I will be trying to figure out how to disconnect it, very annoying. Does it seem to work? :) I'm wondering if getting a hidden radar detector like that would be a good idea for myself. I just got my second speeding ticket last week. :(
  11. Found them on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus-LS400...208169006r22180
  12. Is there a way to test for a parasitic drain on the battery?
  13. To each his own. I like a consistent look. :) Don't get me wrong, I still like the upgrade, but I think it would look even better with matching parking lamps! :P
  14. python, those are nice lights, but they really make the parking lamps look terrible (the ones next to your headlights) by comparison. Do you know of any similar aftermarket parking lamps?
  15. Mine also has CANADA all over the back. I think it's just indicating Canada's equivalent of the FCC ID.
  16. I'm sure everyone would love it if they were only paying an average of $20 a year for it. But at almost $15 a month, it's a pretty crappy service. The music channels are lacking, and at least on XM, there are still lots and lots of commercials, which is unfortunate.

  18. A litmus test for potential K&N users: Would you be comfortable running your car without an air filter at all? If yes, then get a K&N filter!
  19. I'm new to the LS400, so I'm not familiar with the headlights. :) They have separate bulbs for high and low beams? If I just want Xenon low beams, can I just get a kit for those and keep the halogen high beams?
  20. So which one is the right one?
  21. Won't you lose your high beams?
  22. It's funny how people will bother thinking about all the money they're saving on air filters when air filters are such a SMALL part of the cost of overall automobile maintenance. You probably spend about $0.10-0.20 per mile on maintenance on your Lexus.
  23. It lets a lot of dust in and the filter oil can also foul up the sensor. Some people will tell you that these problems are just myths, but I find these issues reasonably possible and easy to understand.
