Hello Well ive been gone for about 3 weeks ive been here in NY very intersting place and many things to do although next time im going to remember to leave the kids at home my wallets empty now because of them lol anyway......i bougt a ipod mini for my son and he wants to hook it up to the car and im not sure of anyway to do this other then buying one of those cassette kits where u put a cassete in and theres a wire connecting from it to the ipod and plays music that way but i think id lose alot of sound quality that way though does anyone have any other ideas i did a search on here and didnt get many results any help would be helpful Thank you Khalid

noway this is to good to be true im really confused at why hed sell the car so cheap with all of those options there has to be something going on here

definately LS over ES you cant go wrong with the flagship of lexus its really an amaising car show a random person a 00 ES and a 95 LS, and them have no knowledge of the 2 cars, odds are theyll pick the LS just because of the fact its a beautiful car inside and out

most of the lexus's now look exactly like the toyotas i myself get confused sometimes between which car it is but then again lexus is just a luxury version of a toyota so in the end were all driving toyotas notice how all the parts say toyota and not lexus

same here SW although i lean toward the 98-00 more then the newer generations i think lexus took a step back with the design of the 430 when first introduced i thought the front end looked horrible but in 04 the fixed things up :whistles:

very nice ed very nice though about doing this to your LS or have you because i wouldnt mind doing it if i could find someone to help me through it because these so called "xenon" bulbs i have right now dont really cut it for me and im wanting to move a step up

jeez kewl guy youve got alot of mids within your first month lol personally i woulda have gotten an 05-07 with 11k just because i have an 06 and i love it i have a few mods mysellf and SSR Gt3 rims should be arrvin by the end of this month i got 18's so my ride wouldnt be effected as much i wanted 20's but i didnt want the hassle of it rubbing and all that other nasty stuff and ed about the xenons are you going for bluish color or white or a tint of both?

did your car previously have a CD changer in it that was removed and does your head unit have a button on it that says CD

try ebay if you cant find one there your going to have to get one from the dealer and that will cost you more then it would on ebay

hey wait a minute how come ive enver seen any LS400 in america with any of those rear seat optinos i kn the 430's have em but ive never seen the rear seat options untill now and about the ari suspension i cant help u there my 96 doesnt have it and from what ive heard im glad i have a ford expedition with air suspension but it doesnt make any noise at least not any i kno of

nice choice chris i might be gettin these rims off tire rack pretty soon unless i can find a better deal but im going to wait untill my tread on my tires wears down so the current tires of mine wont be a waist lol nvm the link expired already but im planning on getting the SSR GT3 Rims in gunmetal since i have a black LS but silver polished rims might look good also havnt made up my mind yet

yes your right in a way though archibalds but ebay would be the cheapest way of buying one of these radios i see 95-97 model radios going anywhere from 100-150 including shipping and that isnt bad at all and some ppl will even give u a 30 day warranty -good luck

o well i can wait untill you get home i am in no big hurry unless these are codes mean something serios and by the doar damper your talking about the side mirros right, if so then i think i kno what the damening code might be about because my left side mirror has a wierd ranbowish mark about 1 inch by 1 inch in the top right of it if these side mirrors r like the rear view then thats what one code might be about. Am i on to something or does that have nothing to do with it at all lol -Khalid

i kno of what problem your talking about mick i had the same thing happen on my 96 but i bougt mine that way from the previsou owner none of my lights on the buttons would work and the backlight was very dim u can take your radio up and open it and see if u have burnt out bulbs i tried that but found out it was a problem in the board even after i changed the bulbs out so i had to buy a new radio but if it happend suddenly then try checking your dash fuses near the E brake either one of those fuses's blew, ur lights burnt out, or u have a problem in the radio board. Taking the radio out and opening it shouldnt be a problem its very easy to take apart and put back together -Khalid

O ya NC your right there this weather is killing me havnt had any rain for a bout a month now havnt seen any clouds for a while either this weather down souths only going to get hotter

NC211 i checked the fuses by the E-brake and thats what my problem was i had about 5-6 blow fuses lol replaced them all and now my lights are working fine, i finally dont have a problem with my car since i bougt it i wonder how long this will last, i really should get the timing belt changed but i only drive my car a total of 50 miles max a week since i have 3 cars so im not really in no rush but that is on my to do lists, are there any signs that show that the belts been changed i can look for to see if the owner before me did it?

took the car outside it still gave me the same 2 errors "21" and "24" exactly what do these to errors mean? whats going wrong because i cant notice it?

ive checked all the fuses under the hood and there all fine, does anyone have any ideas because i dont even kno where to start because this randomly happened my cd changer started working though but at the cost of my center consol lights not working and my cd changer hasnt worked for about 5 months now

hey guys I got in my car to go to the local walmart to get a few things and i turned the car on and then i turned the lights on but all the lights in my car didnt turn on when i switched the lights on the headlights turned on and the cornor lights turned on along with all my exterior lights but my shifter lights, cd head unit lights, climate control lights all stayed off i checked the illuminator knob to see if it was turned off but it was on full could this be a blow fuse or is this going to end up being one of those serious problem involving the lexus dealer thanks

what % tint did u get?

o im going to try that then because i tested it in the garage
