  1. I think the amber is par tof the external lens not an inner like previous ones which can be removed

  3. umm no fuel pump fuse no fuel to the engine not start ? but the engine will turn over or crank jus tnot fire up

It is easier to take it to a trannny shop with a machine to connect the machine to the tranny cooler and return lines ,it waits for the temp to raise in the fluid then begins the flush to remove all the fluid which has to be removed hot not cold for full cuirculation,which also means the new fluid needs to be warmed as well. I did mine at walmart $30, me ,bottle of varsol( to clean the filter) 12 liters of valvoline fliud ,their machine and a hoist i took 2 hours but i did drop the pan before and clean it for a while.

I don;t have angle eyes or have i opened up my headlights yet so i can;t help you with that. try putting the stock airbox back and not the rest of tubing in the fender , you would make a really nice gain over your friend mustang. You aleady know what i think of short arm intakes,so i won;t waste your time
  6. remove the battery and replace the battery grounds and terminals ,if needed replace the battery as well. If you lose things by pressing the brake you are under powered ,either by a cable or your alternator
  7. VVT!!! YOUR ES HAS IT THE CAMRY DOES NOT, 2 completly different heads and intake systems the camry boes not have vvt so it can have the charger as it is built for it.
  8. bd hook up a fuel pressure gauge and monitor it under load drop try driving in first gear and stomping on the gas
  9. get a motor vac change the cap and rotor wires and plugs if applicable
  10. tooth pick with spray nine and about 4 huors of time maybe less then use compressed air in a can to remove the rest
  11. i have feet you have feet but our shoes wont fit right. besides the 300zx was a twin turbo v6 you have a v8 in the 400 I think you know what i mean. If you want to reuse the turbo's look for info on the 400 series engine and compare what parts of the intercooler and turbos you have and they need..
  12. snow mode on any lexus like the GS means the tranny starts off in second gear to reduce wheel spin mainly on rear wheel drive cars.
  13. a 1 inch to 1.5 drop is hardly noticable if at all. On any ES 30 with the eibach prokit most people can't even tell it is dropped even when parked beside another car. It is the same springs but with a higher spring rate for the added load but the same suspension.
  14. you might clear a small amount of the carbon from the valves but the rest needs a constant amount of cleaning to keep it from depositing and sticking to itself.Just hink of a tail pipe when it gets black with carbon when new it is much easier to clean than when you leave it and it bakes itself into the metal and it almost impossible to remove as it is baked in . A good system is a motorvac to remove carbon once every other year to keep an engine in top efficency from removing carbon deposits. A fuel cleaner that is added to the gas tank is worthless if it costs less than $10 and even then it is only so good.

I would say there are 10's of millions of filters out there as there are atleast 3 million in circulation of aem ,comptech,toyota,rk sport,iceman,injen ( the list goes on) short arm and cai intake systems that use K&N cone filters ,all 3 of my cars included but with cold air intakes not drop ins .

  17. I don;t recommend using basic synthetic fluid as myself and other members who have used mobil one found us needing new trannies from slippage. I have now used amsoil synthetic and it is much better for a couple of bucks more. It recommend dex 2 which is no longer made dex 3 works in it also ,valvoline is used by the dealers, so i would stick with that if using basic fluid.
  18. True ,cleaning a maf with throttle body cleaner works but use it properly . Go back and kick the person in toyota in the !Removed! for saying they didn;t have the right adapter. they have the damn thing it is OBD 2 same plug and codes for lexus and toyota as well as every other car in america since 97, they are full of !Removed!, probably too busy so they brushed you off with a stupid answer.
  19. you wont be able to get the mp3 player to work just pull back the carpet and you will see the bolts for it
  20. hood will clear fine the charger will work with quite a few modes to the exhaust and otehr things on the 1mz-fe for 94-96 97 will not work without a new intake manifold and head for the non vvt which the camry does not have. get a camry engine to drop in with a few wiring issues ,lose the vvt but gain the charger, very little gains to be worth a dime over all, the vvt makes almost as much power than the charged version unless tuned properly.
  21. You want to keep the tranny clean the filter and all the fluid not just a drain and fill, but a flush find a shop to use a flush mahine on it' it is much cheaper than a new tranny belive me i know
  22. *sniffles* that is the best JDM upgrade you could ever get. That is why we have 15 gallon drums of elf race fuel at the shop. Ohhhh it smells so nice. you shuold see the difference in my air fuel ratio meter between 91 and 93 octane alone. It runs a much wider and lean band with 93 than 91 which the motor dumps more into and runs rich trying to compensate. btw this is in my civic which has lots of gauges to moderate.
  23. It all depends on what the cel code is unkown to how bad it could be it is probably the egr which is a common on and off cel problem.
