  1. Disconnecting the battery will make it start up on base maps and start a new average base to calculate. Normally i suggest just a fuse but this may need a few systems shut down to reboot
  2. may have a slight airpocket a bad wire
  3. It sounds like it is not in sync, but the readings are based on an average of the latest types and style of driving, so if you did more of a mix of highway it would climb slowly
  4. get an inline external tranny filter the car already comes with an adequate cooler/heater
  5. LMAO @ i fixem get a mcv10 then you can comment with more knowledge on them army
  6. not sure with a es250 but with a 92-96 their is a 1 1/2 inch peice of metal for the front seats to bolt on so water would not get from the front to the back and if it did lose coolant it would pool in the front seat if by chance it got by it then you would have a soaked front seat and reas as well as no stereo as it would burn the amp under the seat
  7. lmao their is no fix ,nothign is broken what is to be unerved about now that you know what and why open a window
  8. a malfunctioning heater core leaking in the back seat? you may have a bolt holding the seat back missing which has broken through the painted rubber inner fenderwell. with no bolt the water will seep under the rear seats when the car is driven in the rain
  9. glad you did i was about to tell you that you were diagniosing your hvac system
  10. unfortunatly their are a few airflow or ratio sensors maf egr o2 x3
  11. all your questions are answered in one simple answer NO take it back a tech did the work their is no simple fix unless you own tools and have the knowldege of an engine you cannot fix it
  12. lmao can i use that line ifixem?
  13. i think the drl's use a tiny peanut bulb called 194's piaa makes a set actually i installed a green one on one car and it look real nice for some reason as i did it for a joke but i guess it resembled the green look to the stock 01-04 headlights
  14. you won;t find more piston calipers on small cars unless you move to an LS or SC but i told you that in the pm you sent me
  15. no you wont have a check engine light unless it is so bad you have otehr problems
  16. moved to the ES forum as this has nothing to do with detailing =cleaning your car read the FAQ
  17. I would think someone forced something in the trunk and bent one of the tension bars i think their is adjustment to the force by moving their position on the ends
  18. o2 sensors are only after the combustion chambers not before it to read air you might be talking about the maf which can get filled with oil if improperly oiled. need more info like the type of intake what it sounds like when how long add alot more detail for a better response
  19. no clue what a lean fuel situation is type exactly as written on the work order
  20. that would be so much work and for what ? i belive in making a car better, not like another park them side by side and notice the hood on the older one slopes down more than the newer one which is more square or look at the overhang of the front bumper their is about a foot on the 1st and only a few inches on the 2nd
  21. no problem kyle i don;t mind explaing something as long as someone doesn;t ask me the same thing again 5 mintues later. and running lean is not a good thing either it creates hot spots from carbon which cause uncontrollable combustion . which robs power. it may be able to injest more air in volume but it is an avaerage of 50-100 degrees C inside an engine bay so unless the air speed is 300 kph it would never use ( i think) the venturi affect to compensate for the increase in heat especially with only 2 feet at the most from filter to valves if it didn;t make a difference in heat so much then dynos which measure real hp gains and loses would never bother using barometric pressure sealevel heights and air temp into the equations to balance the numbers depending on these factors
  22. your timing sound like it is off take it back
  23. you are the first person with a lexus to have the "sky is falling syndrome".You liek that ,i just made it up :) are you sure nothing is inside of the roof? any slight staining?
