  1. I am wrong ,for some reason i was thinking of another set of rims. Is that the same ones in your avatar? They actually are not bad looking ,you might be able to get $800 for them. I know the bmw rims they look like bnut they have a bent out spoke which makes them look real strong on those ones to me.
  2. Have you driven the car yet or did you not because the pedal went to the floor with no resistance?
  3. Your right it is the cheaper way. Ever notice how most cars that go through winters have lots of rust around the rear wheel wheels? Well imagine if all of those with fender tims shaved left exposed metal how bad the rust would get real quick?
  4. Welcome. I know they have them for the GS models and IS. They may be able to fit if you replace the metal inserts on the plastic. I would ask the sellers on eBay to measure the ones they have so you can compare the length to yours.
  5. Never heard of that request before. Best bet is to find a local upholster to custom make one.
  6. I made a post of every single obd 1 and 2 code in the general maintance section
  7. If you put 70lbs in exactly how many inches does it lower the rear?
  8. Tan the big difference between your problem and rmaz is your moved with no resistance, there key is stuck in one position. I don;t think the RX has a long rod behind the tumbler as yours did.
  9. Actually SHA rolling your fenders means manipulating the metal over the wheel wheel to extend it further out to fit a wider or lower offset rim. It is supposed to be done by using a rolling press which connects to the wheels hub and has a large hard rubber wheel which is rolled back and forth around the wheel wells lip until if slowly is stretched further out. This includes heating the metal to make sure the paint does not crack or chip while doing this. Other wise you need to go to a body shop were they make small cuts in the metal in multiple places and put it back together by welding and paint not bondo. Most people do not do it properly and just hammer the lip or cut it out. Very few places have the machine which is abotu $2000 ( overpriced) at rims stores. Some may rent it to you since half of those who have it have no clue how to use it.
  10. My bluetooth earpeice motorla hs 850 works great with voice commands and is 1 touch just for that reason. Bluetooth does work with voice commands as well as it working on car.
  11. In the world of the sue happy i would lean toward the toyota side of the law equation. I may hate some of there technology defeating but in the end it is the only way to prevent an accident being blamed on them in anyway. If they made it alittle simpler to bypass it would be nice ,but that is why i am sure the bypass module is so cheap because it does not do much .
  12. Most of all the best chroming places are in Cali. Expect to pay 100-150 a rim for a good triple coat job.
  13. Now that sounds like a good idea. If you like them but want them chromed just send them out and replace them once they get back.
  14. I don;t think it is NC's car at all ,he has done all the right mods before the extra stuff.
  15. Chrome and racing do not go together? Get a set of ploished volk racings if you want the look of both.
  16. 1 that rim is nasty It looks like a hey look at me rim ,it doesn't matter what car that person has they would want an overly flashy rim. I hate that style of wheel that tries to look expensive because it "BLINGS". Reminds me of cubic zirconias fake as the owner is.
  17. agreed 1990 search LOC or try your owners manual or homelinks website
  18. Your problem is with the tumbler. That is all you need to get fixed ,which can always be rekeyed to your old keys. I would call a locksmith first.
  19. How interestingly convenient of a local Arizona supplier of keys. Sorry but that is viewed as advertising.
