  1. I also have a air ride in my 93 ls400 and my 2 rear shockes went out. They are exspensive they wanted like 700 per shock. Lucky for me I got a connect in lexus so I got em both for a total of 800!! The air ride is sweet I recommend keeping it if you can.
  2. Thanks I think I'll replace the front door's with infiniti's and maybe the rears although they still sound good. Are the tweeters in the front connected to the front door speakers because ever since the 2 doors have gone out the tweeters are really faint no matter how much I turn up the volume? I may have to replace those too. Too much moneyyyy!!!!
  3. I have a 93 ls 400 with that nakamishi (spelling off probably) sound. My 2 front speakers by the drivers leg and passanger leg have gone out. One day listening to them fine when one went almost silent. I could still hear the music so I thought I blew a fuse or something, checked and no fuse blown. A few days later the other one did the same, I called lexus and they said there done. I have to replace them and was wondering if I should replace all 4 speakers excluding those small ones unless I have to. What size speakers should I get? And I dont think my car came with a sub, if so where would I find it?
  4. OMG Thank you guys so much for all the info!! I gave it a lot of thought and I'll stay away from 22's!! But when I put my 20's on I'll post a few pics. I dont know if I want to lower the car cause I really love the air ride it has and dont want to compromise it. So maybe I'll just go with a little thicker tire to fill a little more of the wheel well. Thaks a bunch for the info now if I need to I can print off those pics to show the shop what I may need done!!!
  5. I have a 93 LS 400 with air suspension. The car sits a bit higher then the same year and model with out air. I have a friend that has 20 inch chrome rims on his 91 LS 400 and they fill the wheel well fully. My question is what is rolling your fenders because I have seen on this forum people talking about rolling them to give more room. I want to put 20's but when I went to buy them they looked a little small on my car do to it sitting higher. I want to put 22's and was wondering about rolling my fenders to free up more space! Please any insight would be much appreciated!
  6. Thanks I will have a mechanic look at it next week.
  7. Question... My 93 LS 400's suspension relaxes at night. When ever I park the car for over 5 hours I come out and find the back of my car looks lowered. I have done no modifications to the suspension, wierd thing is when I put the key in the ignition and start it the auto suspension slowly raises back to the normal height. Is this normal or is my auto suspension malfunctioning??
