This post seems fishy????? I have seen it on eBay and think it looks like garbage. It does not flow with any lines of the car and is not even a actual grab handle to close the trunk properly. MB has a much better looking strip which flows with their cars . They also have a nice chrome strip which attaches to the license plate to close the trunk much more effectively. I would have deleted this thread as i believe you are a vendor trying to point customers towards an eBay search for it. But the handles looks so crappy like a extra thick moustach,it just does not look right. Very few would ever want it.

How odd. Unlike in the states every single Lexus dealer is part of the same building as a toyota dealership so it is one family . Compared to the US where you have Toyotas being sold in the same building as pontiacs. Just something i never understood. Anyway , i think the sales guys was an idiot for making such a remark. I would guess it is Erin park Toyota/Lexus which does have a few odd balls who work there in service ,parts and sales.

All air suspension systems will drop to the ground after a few months of not being started. The compressor will come on for a little first. I would get a charged battery before turning the key and install it as the old one should be dead. Then turn the key a few times before every starting the car to make sure the whole system is primed and ready to go. I would only let the air suspensino raise so you coudl tow it home as i would not want to start a car that sat for such a long time with old oil.

I agree with 914lps A plug is fine and it seals with the adhesive quite nicely.

What is odd as i don't surf camry forums as much as toys does so i don;t know there life expetancy so i can;t comment on them. I have yet to find a consitant problem of a 1mz blowing head gaskets, valve cover and rear main seals leak but not a problem with the head gaskets. The only ES's with the headgasket problems is the iron block 3vz from all the posts here.

Any body shop can give /sell to you for a buck or 2. Also auto part stores stock them also

Putting those small packets of silica gel in there will also absorb condensation if it is internal.

You should have gotten a locksmith to key pin the new tumbler with the old one before installing the new one. I would find out how much they want to do it as that would be the best solution.

The cabin filter replacment is in my owners manual in my 98 It is located in the back of the lower glovebox. Takes seconds to replace.Just unsnap the tab and pull the tray out and replace the filter in the tray and reinstall.

Did they clear the codes? If they cleared them did they come right back? If not i would keep driving it until they show up ,it may only be an intermittent problem.
