i went to my local auto body paint store and got a roll, and it was enough for the whole car.mine was faded and when i replaced, my ls looked new again. what little wonders could do. Mine is also a 2000 platinum series(silveron blk)

Totall yodd, i never heard of any gaskets going out on a v8 lexus, especially an engine gasket. Take it to someone who knows what there doing- chutch

i have new good years, do i need to switch the battery? How do i reset the vsc? Can i take it to auto zone? Any info is appreciated and thanks ahjgta for your help.

Greetings, Firsr and foremost i must say that this forum is fantastic and you guys are good at what you do, i have a 2000 ls400 with 59k miles and when ever i turn a corner with the vsc on, The vsc will activate and apply the brakes as if i am slipping. I am taking the turns at 5mph on dry pavement by the way. A beeping noise is also heard while the vsc activates. This is annoying, Yet if i turn the vsc switch off and take a turn, nothing happends.It only happens when the vsc is on, Any insight and thoughts are real helpful guuys, thank you.

For a rebuilt title he overpaid by a lot IMO. In all fair honesty, it drives better then my co worker's 2000 ls400 with 40k, and he even has the air ride in his. I bought it from a private party, yet the test drive and records is what sold me. Every one told me not to buy it, yet for so low miles and the year i wanted also, it was also hard for me to find a solid color ls400, rather then the 2tone.I appreciate your input gents, btw, Im not a fan of the 430's in my opinion, im more of a fan of the 4.0l motor;)

i would go to a wrecking yard and just get a good used speaker from a 2006 ls430 speaker, ml system is the best of the best

i just bought a 2000 silver/blk leather ls400 platinum series, 59k miles, 60k service done. all the goodies except nakimichi and navigation/air ride. excellent shape in and out, i paid 14k. downfall it has a rebuilt title. and no frame damage. No airbags were deployed also and all were intact after the accident. it got damaged in the rear quarter panel and the p.o fixed it. i personally am in love with this vehiacle. Yet did i get ripped off due to the title, please help? thanks

i have a 2000 ls400 platnimu series, and someone stole my shift knob. it is blk with maple and i have a platnimu series which its wood is different then other ls400 models. my question is will a 2004 rx330 maple shift knob fit on my 2000 ls400. Any input is deeply appreciated gents- chow
