I am based over in the UK - so can't comment on price over there. But I'm sure my attitude to tyres applies equally well over there. Do not skimp on tyres - get cheap other bits if you like - but always get decent tyres. The couple of inches of rubber per corner that tyres provide are the most important couple of inches of rubber on the car (not counting the condoms in the glovebox :whistles: ). could be a matter of life or death.

I reckon it speeded up - watch the guys shoulders bounce. either that - or he really needs to get his shocks looked at!

hey blue - becoming a regular eh? ;) paste this link into the avatar settings http://us.lexusownersclub.com/albums/GS/af..._019a.thumb.jpg with regards to the images, I think what you are trying to do is to inline them - ie - make them appear in the post as a picture rather than a link you have to click to see the image - like below? the easiestway to do this is to copy the location of the image you want, then click on the IMG button when creating your post. Paste the image URL into the popup window - and you'll be golden B)

bluelex best bet is to put them in the gallery you can then link the pictures in your posts, and more people will see them in gallery anyway.

hey Mike - nice to see you back - how did everything go? you didn't post this pick "on the other side" - can I show how little I know about this stuff by asking what the blue bubble is on the bootom of the rim?

Noticed a few guys are using nice banner sized images of their cars in their signatures. This is cool - I don't mind at all - and some of them are really sweet! B) but, quite a few of these images are hosted on other clubs servers, seen a few that are hosted at Club Lexus. Now no-one has complained about this, but I think it is a bit off for us to use other web sites bandwidth in that way. Therefore I have created a new gallery just to hold images for avatars, signatures and other miscelleneous images Please feel free to upload all your avatars and signature images to that gallery, and use a link from there in the forums to show these images.

you have a 03 ES Steve? man I'm jealous. was looking at that on lexus.com the other day - DAMN thats one sweet looking motor. we don't get that over here - doesn't comply with our emissions rules :( we don't get the SC300 / 400 either - and I really, really like those. we only get them as imports, and branded as Toyota Soarers (although the have been a few naughty people importing them from Toyota, re-badging as Lexus as selling on at a huge profit)

depends what the site is as long as its a "decent" site (as in not indecent or improper), and its not a commercial site, then I'm not going to mind at all. if you want a forum here - just for Toronto, with yourself as the moderator, let me know - we are here to help lexus owners get these sort of meets arranged. easy price to pay too - just post the pictures in the gallery - I want to see the cars!!! :D :D
