  1. They're considering the AWD option for the next redesign cycle of the LS, which would be 2007.
  2. Sure, any light bulb can explode.
  3. Nope, LS only has one. The new 430 has like 5 lol.
  4. sk- Yep thats what I was talking about, the two toned tan/black interior. Not the black exterior tan interior match ;) All the evidence I can find shows that the coach was two tones like all the rest of them. Had to be a custom job.
  5. The interior is Camry I'll agree, but believe it or not, not one body panel is shared. 135,000 miles isn't at all high for a 13 year old car. Thats only 10,300 miles a year.
  6. I'm pretty sure. Trying to find out for sure now, but I'm 95% sure.
  7. I love my seat heaters. Especially now that they have two settings. My dad's 98 LS only has one, "Super !Removed! Burn", now I have "Warm" and "Super !Removed! Burn". Only thing I've noticed is, when you first turn them on, they start out on Super !Removed! Burn and you have to turn them down.
  8. They're getting there. The RX, LX and GX and SC all have projectors. They're talking about it with the LS too.
  9. I believe even the coach ones were two toned. Meaning the tan lower side on yours must have been painted by somebody else. No Lexus came from the factory one tone until 1998 on the GS. First one tone ES was the 02-03. Not surprising that a previous owner of yours repainted it, its a pretty common mod.
  10. I just checked, ABS is standard. I thought that it was. My dad's old 90 Lincoln Continental had ABS...
  11. 40k is crazy or rich? Mine was 40k, and I'm niether crazy or rich ;)
  12. They're all two tone ;) I did run a Carfax on it, and it says its clean. The interior is interesting, the tan on black. never seen anything like it on an ES before...
  13. Yeah the ES250s don't have the optitron gauges. Probably a pretty good buy.
  14. I say battery. Really easy to do yourself but I actually took mine to a jeweler that I know and she took care of it for me.
  15. Yeah they're not going anywhere. Another fear I have about them is them exploding. I've had bulbs explode before (granted they were halogen) and I had to replace the whole lamp assembly. That was a Ford and it only cost 90 bucks, this is a Lexus and those things cost upwards of $300. I'm thinking I may wait for the real thing too, which I'm sure the coating is designed so that they are consistant. Phillips is a quality company.
  16. he does say it has a branded title, which means it was in a wreck. I'll see if I can scare up a free Carfax.
  17. Nappa leather is really nice, but its not german ;) Comes as an option on Benzes too.
  18. We'll let it slide, this time ;)
  19. More than $800 a month lol. Thats a GS430 leased. LS's lease for more like 1000-1100
  20. I have a Ford with 140,000 miles, and my paint is perfect ;) I've seen MANY LS430s, both back when I was considering getting an 01, just in parking lots and stuff, I know several owners and yours is the first instance of this I've seen/heard about.
  21. I'm gonna say when the guy had the repair done, he picked up a couple of coach bdages...
  22. LOL, you saw my response right? here you got me all mad, I was gonna kill whoever deleted it!
  23. What specifically didnt you like about them Steve? "check your local K-Mart"??!?!?!? Interesting response LOL. He doesn't even realize the normal Silvervisions aren't availiable here anywhere...
  24. It'll happen to you too BWAHAHAHAHA :D Luckily enough you can just replace the sir struts for normal struts when they fail.
  25. I always deploy the sunshade when parked outside for that very reason.
