  1. If you don't want this alias to be used, deleting your account would cause it to become available for someone else to use. If its designated to your account it won't be available for others to use. Bottom line, we don't cancel accounts. You can simply stop using your account.
  2. The other thing to realize is that you can wait to buy the warranty all the way up to when your original B2B warranty expires, so you don't have to decide now...
  3. As someone who had a much less powerful hybrid, and who has driven the 300h I can tell you thats not an issue. The 300h may have less power, but the CVT and low end available torque of the electric motors give you instant power on demand...passing power is not a problem.
  4. I know people complain about it, but I've owned 5 cars with HID lights, all had auto keeling systems that operated in that way.
  5. I don't like a blingy car either, but I like a little bit of adornment on a luxury car. Don't get me wrong, I really like the new ES, I'm just a little frustrated with some of Lexus'.trim choices, the deletion of any chrome adornmet along the sides on the outside, some cheap downgrades such as the removal of be high quality rolled rear exhaust tips, etc. inside I lament some of the material choices, namely cheap plastics on the door panels, especially around the door handles where you touch a lot, and e deletion of the wood trim on the console. A lot of things I do like too, I like the shape, I like most of the new interior. I'm torn. I'm thinking I might hang onto mine for a few years, and I've also started looking at 2010 LS460s...
  6. I disagree. Nothing over the top about the sort of chrome the previous car has, a subtle strip along the base of the doors, and chrome door handles. To me that similarity to the LS showed that the ES and LS were the luxury minded sedans, where the GS and IS, which are all body color, were the sport focused cars. To me the body colored handles and lack of any kind of chrome garnishment along the sides makes the car look cheap from the outside compared to other vehicles in its class like the Hyundai Genesis, the Buick Lacrosse, the new upcoming Lincoln MKZ, and the BMW and Mercedes. Hell, even the sporty BMWs have a little chrome adornment on the door handles. Too plain for my taste.
  7. Yeah Thats one of my big niggles with the exterior, it looks kind of plain without the chrome strip and without the chrome door handles...
  8. They're working properly. They level, but they level to avoid blinding oncoming drivers, not to increase light output.
  9. I know a few people have made some comments about the XTS competing with the ES, I was in the neighborhood of my friendly local Caddy dealer the other day and stopped by and drove the new XTS, I have some thoughts compared to the ES, and some thoughts about the car in general. First of all the car is not really comparable to the ES, its larger and more expensive. Its a *really* big car, you have to see it in person to get the full feel for it. Very long rear overhang with a short decklid, almost like a fastback. Very attractive, I think its a great looking car. Very premium feeling, excellent trim and fit and finish. Love the interior too as well as the technology. Great materials, beautiful wood trim, LCD gauge cluster is very nice and very customizable, nav interface is good while the touch sensitive buttons and all are kind of goofy. Great audio system. Upgrade from the ES inside. However...I was very disappointed in how it rode. I drove a Platinum trim car with 20" chrome wheels and they rode very hard. Suspension was soft, but impacts were hard and jarring because of the wheels, lots of road noise. I'd be interested to drive one of the lower trims with the 19s and see if they are better. Equipped similarly to the UL ES its probably $58k or so. A lot of money for a Cadillac. I'd pass.
  10. What you're noticing is the auto-leveling system for the HIDs. Is this your first car with HIDs? As for the road noise, what tires does yours have? The Michelins or the Bridgestones?
  11. I like the ad, and I think the Accord looks great. I wouldn't even consider a Camry compared to this Accord...
  12. Ive driven it...its a great car. I personally don't care for the hybrid powertrain or the bamboo trim, but thats me...
  13. Check out the detailing forum on here...LOTS of info in there...
  14. If thats all you signed you should be fine to change. I also think theres something to be said for getting something a little different...
  15. Have you already signed everything? I would think there is still time to change the terms since you haven't taken delivery. I would be sure you're getting what you want. Is the 10k miles enough for you?
  16. They ship with the Bridgestone Turanza EL400s or the Michelin Primacy MXV4 which is a MUCH better tire. I would insist on the Michelins, they should be able to swap them with another car on the lot, its just luck which ships. Even if you had to pay them to do the swap for the labor, I'd do it. I replaced the Bridgestones that came OEM on mine with the Michelins after about 15k miles and its a huge difference.
  17. No, its a hard drive system like in our 2010s. Its not "over the air", the update comes on a USB stick and its done that way. Updates for ours still come out in October alongside the DVDs for the older systems.
  18. I know where you're talking about, its 895 which goes through the Harbor tunnel. They moved the exit for 895 from the left where it had been for years, to the right. That whole area is undergoing HUGE road construction. The main thing that bothers me is the ICC being missing in Montgomery County.
  19. Right...they are radical Mulsims. Its not the Libyan army.
  20. The country doesn't attack our embassies, there are dangerous and militant people living within those countries that do. The Libyan army didn't attack our embassy. We can't exactly denounce Libya because there are dangerous people in their country...we've got dangerous people in our own country...everybody does. My point is we shouldn't be there expending our resources and putting our people at risk if there's no interest in it for us, and if we're continually rebuffed by the people of that country. If they don't want us there...we should leave. Our presence there by its very nature destabilizes the region. To make the leap though that if any American is ever killed or hurt or if any American installation is ever attacked in a foreign country by citizens of that country that we should immediately pull out, pull all our aid, deport their citizens, and cancel all visas is more than a little extreme. Things like this happen. In 1986 a car bomb went off outside the USO in Italy, in 1987 there was a car bombing at our embassy in Rome. Should we have cut all ties with Italy, deported their citizens and cancelled all their visas? In 2007 our embassy was attacked in Greece...should we cut all ties with Greece, deport their citizens and cancel their visas?
  21. I bet that KFC smelled great burning down LOL
  22. Wow...just wow. Put your Klan hood down lenore. Not everybody that is a Muslim is a "future terrorist". Your children aren't terrorists even though Timothy McVeigh bombed Oklahoma City. Or...maybe they are. Unreal. Sad thing is' date=' a lot of people in this country believe as he believes, the ignorant, racist, bigoted isolationism. Anybody who[/font']'s not like them is somehow the enemy, anybody who looks like they might be muslim is a terrorist. These are the kind of stupid morons who can't believe Obama could possibly be a naturalized American because of his name. People like Donald Trump throw that around for publicity, he doesn't actually believe it, but a lot of people do. Really scary. To make a statement like all muslims should be denied visas, and to say "let them go to France and England where they have turned their societies into garbage" is an across the line. Keep racist statements like that for your rallies Lenore.
  23. The Nebula Grey never comes with parchment. The interior/exterior colors are keyed together so that they blend...grey and tan...not a combination you see very often. Same with silver and tan. You can get Nebula Grey with black or grey. Same with silver. What kind of deal did you wind up getting? I have a guy a Lindsay working some numbers for me now. I'd be interested to know what kind of discount you were able to get and what kind of lease they worked up for you. They worked one up in Rockville for me on the first car they got but it was going to be like $150 a month more than my 2010...needless to say I passed.
  24. They have an update every year, the question is whether it would be worthwhile for you to update in your region.
