  1. yeah, it just snaps in there.
  2. You let the dealer have "their guy" buff and wax your car? :o
  3. Hmmm, now see, I'm the exact opposite. I like that they are the same. If fact, I wish the ISF looked just like the 250 and 350 also. Just because then they have to wonder which one you have.......and it's up to you if want to let them know.....or not. ;)
  4. Then I guess most of us on this forum driving an ISX50 wasted our money on a complete joke of a dog car? It's not all about the HP--if it was, I'd be driving a Charger. Everyone places a different order on their priority lists. I agree, though, the IS250 isn't a joke or a dog, as it is still faster than an Audi A4 turbo, and a few others that I know of, and gets great gas mileage. But if you jumped from a 250 to the 350 and drove it A/B, I can easily see why those who haven't don't understand. :)
  5. Says everything I need to know about you pal. I think the joke is on you if that's what you think. Let's keep the conversation about cars here, and not make this a personal issue.
  6. Look for dcfish here on these forums. I think he can help you out there.
  7. I think the Is 350 has alot more class when you pull up in it verses the looks of the BMW 135. Also, the 135 is a first year model, and BMW has allways had electrical issues, and bearing problems. The 135 is new, so I can't say these are issues with that model, but it is pretty general. I also think about 2-5 years from now, the IS 350 has alot more staying appeal. I just don't like the new design of the BMW's as much as the previous model design. I like the M3, M5, and M6 and the SC, but all the series cars look out of place. Like the 3 series, and 6 series don't look anywhere near as nice as the M series flagship for each class.
  8. As soon as my check from the prince of Nirobi arrives for bailing him out of his tax issue, I'll buy a few also. :)
  9. Welcome to the LOC. The IS 350 is the way to go. Faster than the G37S, more room, and nicer looking. The BMW 135 isn't anywhere near as much car, and the few others aren't worth mentioning. :)
  10. I'm surprised you even find it driveable after looking at your 300T specs. Talk about apples & oranges... It's good for back and fourth to work. ;) The beast is going to be a track only car.
  11. Personally, I never even considered the 250. I knew right away I would allways want the power. And I was right. I love the 350!
  12. Awsome!, Glad that worked out for ya!
  13. leopard skin
  14. What are your sources Smooth1? The highest estimate/prediction I have seen is $6/gallon, which is a far cry from $10! IMO, if gas hits $5/gallon as a NATIONAL average I think we will start to witness riots in the streets and strikes by the Teamsters Union :( I don't even want to think what would happen at $10/gallon! I was some being a smarty, and more being a pessimist. :(
  15. Call them again. And talk to the manager. Say do you have my check, I'll come down and get it? If he says no, then ask him for the customer survey and the number for corperate Lexus as you would like to discuss this issue with them from now on. Whatever he says after that, just keep asking if he has your check, and insist on the phone numbers. Let him know you'll just call back to get those numbers, you won't be asking for the check anymore.
  16. yes it zooms out. I think you can zoom out far enouph to see a small blip in the state if you want.
  17. Well, first of all, welcome to the LOC. Second, You shouldn't type in forums with the caps lock on. Everyone thinks your screaming at them, and it's considered rude. As for the nav disc, I've heard of booting issues alot. Maybe take it to your local dealership and show them what is happening. I'm sure they will give you hand with that. I can't see the disc, or see what your doing to be able to be any help here.
  18. duckin Frunck! :)
  19. Yes...a little more actually 33,000 Brit Pounds fully loaded...the IS-F here is just over 51,000 British pounds Rumour here is the LF-A is going to exceed £200,000. Oh and petrol (gas) has just exceeded $10.89 a gallon, although currently 65% of that is tax and due to go to 67% in September this year :cries: . Can I come and live over there permanently :D But, but we aren't that far behind you. They are talking about $10 per gallon here in the not so distant future.
  20. they might be able to fix that for you at the paintless dent removal. Just have them look at it first, they will tell you if they can or not. Should only cost you less than a hundred bucks.
  21. The pads fitted are the OEM replacements from the part number on the TSIB (which I think have a ceramic based material). It's driven quite hard, and I 've found the pads to be more progressive than the originals... they don't have that slow speed sudden 'grab' which I didn't like at all. Little or no fade and minimum dusting compared with the originals which left my wheels completely black after relatively few miles. Note the comparison is between my OEM IS250 rotors, calipers and pads after upgrading with the IS350/GS300 Mk3 set.....we only have one IS350 in the UK, and that is a Toms Supercharged version imported from Japan. We do have the IS-F, but again in very few numbers (150 this year)...and as I've said before, there's one hell of a difference in cost between the USA & UK....I had to pay more for my IS250 Se-L than you can buy an IS-F for in the USA :( That is obscene! So your saying that if the ISF sells in America for $65,000.00 which is 32,800. British pounds, or 41,180 Euro, that's what you paid for the IS250?
