  1. Lookin good! Are those AAC headlights? And are you going to black out the taillights also?
  2. It's next to the glovebox on the passenger side. You will have to remove the glovebox and then look to your right.
  3. I thought he was tryin to sell it to avoid havin to fix it.
  4. gotta love those forged pistons though!
  5. It is a valve adjustment. the ticking you hear when it's cold is more likely the fuel injectors, not the valves.
  6. Well, sseing as how your close to needing new tires, then maybe deal with it until you change them out and see if the problem is still there afterwards. If so then it wasn't the tires then.
  7. double
  8. slicks
  9. the link to the post you have there, the tech even states in the first sentence that these are just preliminary MSRP. But he can't give any more info in order to keep his job. Iv'e seen that post before, but I'm still waiting for the release and real info on that line. I agree howver I don't think most of it is really performance based stuff. I was curious if the F badged intake was more like the dual stage intake that is used on the ISF or if it is just more like a JoeZ. And I just wanted to compare it to some other stuff also, like the lowering springs and so on.
  10. I had mine on, but because I wanted it on, not because it had to be there. I was running with no cats. So my sensor 2 bank 2 would fire up. I liked it on so I wouldn't have to remember to turn the traction control off all the time. When I first put the turbo in, I forgot once or twice, and man, not a good thing. LOL!!! It's not true that a turbo means a cel. And if it did, it would mean the same for the supecharger as well anyway. the timing and a/f mixes aren't any different. The fundamentals of both the turbo and supercharger goals are the same.
  11. It's been almost 17 years since I have been there. Your right, State street. Sorry. Water street was blurred into other memories!! LOL!!
  12. blown tweeter. Need to replace it then. If you have the panel off, try hooking up a different speaker to that connection. If you have sound, then it's the tweeter. If no sound then it's the wires, or the power feed/ amp.
  13. welcome to the LOC !! I grew up in Wausau, and went to college in Madison. Man I miss Water street!
  14. ok. sculpture---> Art
  15. It's all prewired, you should be able to without any issue. Heck, the dealer can order them and switch them for you if you want.
  16. I saw alot of this line coming at Carson L-tuned also. But they say the samething, and aren't being very open to info yet. I think the info just isn't available yet.
  17. I have a friend that has one. That and a Mercedes McLaren SLR, a Lambo, Porcshe, and few others. I have pics on my other disc at the shop. I can post them if you wanna see. Pomme---->granite
  18. Oh hell yes!! Cylinder---------->16 (Veyron) I have a surprise for you guys if you like the Bugatti Veyron! sour---> apple
  19. BTW, something to think about, with a turbo, you can get a digital boost controller and have one setting for like 6-8 psi and about 360 hp, and then have a high setting for about 10-12 psi and about 400-425 hp. So you can cruise around in low boost, and if you line up to a big dog, or need alittle more, then o button and you got it, whereas with the supercharger you can only have what you have that is determined by the size of the pulley. I'm not trying to change your mind, but Turbo's just seem to have alot more options than the superchargers do.
  20. If you go over I would say 300 hp, your gonna need to do atleast a valvebody upgrade. If you go over 350, then you might wanna consider talking to Level 10, or PFS about a race built tranny. And as far as it goes, the autos are stronger than the manuals anyway. But once you decide you want more than I would say 500 rwhp, than aftermarket custom is the only real option other than the Getrag V160. I'm getting ready to build a full race car, so at first I was thinking V160, but if I go 1/4 mile drag build, then I'm just gonna put a powerglide on it and run it like that. We are mapping out a semi tube frame, with a locked in roll cage that connects directly to the rearend. So when we finish, it will have a Toyota 2JZ, and "look " like an IS 300, but behind the motor and under the shell will be a completely different story.
  21. It's a pretty good car with a pretty good platform. ;)
  22. Yeah, I'm thinkin you might wanna get off the full synthetics, and maybe switch to high mileage blend. Todays high mileage motor oils are designed to keep seals conditioned and clean a little better. Just a thought. I'm an Amsoil user. But to each thier own. Mobil filters are fine. It's not like your running extended rev limits and need to raise the oil flow rate or anything. Changing them regularly is the key. If I'm not mistaken, oil capacity is 4.7 qts. Ask Mburnackis while your talking to him as he owns one and probably will have the exact figure if not just back up what I think it is. Oh, and you just have the one PCV valve.
  23. I like the drilled and slotted , but not feelin the saw blade ora thing. But hey if you like em, that's all that matters. Looks like it was a good meet.
  24. I was scrolling down the page real quick ! Wilson-----> Staff
