  1. Thanks, Knightshade. I've added it here. 10K for carbon ceramic brakes? WOW !!!! But, 2K for forged 19 inch wheels is more than reasonable. They would look awesome on my Smoky Granite Mica, but so would the carbon ceramic with the yellow calibers. 2. These are suppose to be available March 2008. Developed by TRD (Toyota Racing Development). My Lexus dealer has no information on them. I e-mailed TRD and they acknowledged they were developing this line, but that was all they could tell me. Does anyone have additional information on availability and the timeline? Attached at the bottom is the information from Lexus and some really nice accessory pictures. Check out those carbon ceramic brakes, coilovers, carbon fiber engine cover, wheels, etc. These are designed for the IS250 and IS350, not the IS-F. Finally, Lexus has developed some nice stuff. Now, the cost!!!! F_Sport_Performance_Accessories.pdf
  3. Have you thought about potentially using the "Yellow' film on the fogs and "Smoke" on the headlights? I just might try it for $60 @ http://www.lamin-x.com on my IS350 SGM. Also, might there be some legality issues concerning smoked headlights? I just did the yellow film on the fogs. I could see the adhesive build up under the film. I ripped them off.
  4. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223728 Thank you very much. Much help, great instruction. Thanks, again !!!!
  5. I'm also looking at the yellow fogs, but it seems like a major pain. I looked under the hood, up into the wheel well and up under my 1S350 and it looks like I'd have to remove some panels to replace the bulbs. I'd like to just have "yellow" when they are on. I do like the idea of the film. It's easy, protects the lense and, if I don't like it, pull them off. It seems like a pain just to change the bulbs. Does anyone have any input on just how painful it is to change the bulbs. '06 IS350 SGM on/Blk, LUX, NAV, ML, Tint, Clear Bra
  6. Live in Charlton, commute to Framingham. Wow, I don't even know where Charlton is. I grew up in Medford and commuted to Framingham to work @ Bose on The Mountain.
  7. Scott, What part of Mass are you from? I got it in my IS300 (I live in Atlanta also) just because I have to park the car in a somewhat sketchy area, and I like the extra comfort that the Low Jack provides. As an added benefit, I got an insurance rate deduction when I told them I had Low Jack (not too much, I think $39 a year, but it definitely adds up if you plan on keeping the car for a while!) Back in the day, when my father bought his LS, he opted for big Low Jack package, with the special key fob and cell phone update, although he never uses the extra stuff. I think if you got the base Low Jack package you can have more confidence that your car will be protected and if you notify your insurance, it might pay for itself over the years. Plus, if your car is ever stolen, there is a much better chance you can get it back before something horrible happens to it (knock on wood) I'll going through with this option, probably premium because I'd want to know as soon as it moves. There's lots of places in Atlanta that I'd want to keep an extra eye on it. Cheers !!!!
  8. LoJack says they have approx. a 92% recovery rate, within a very short time frame resulting in minimum damage to the vehicle while still in the greater Metro Atlanta area. The basic system is $650 and for an additional $250, you get the upgrade premium package which will inform you via, I believe, cellphone, that your vehicle has moved. Also, they place the unit in a variety of different places to make it harder to find. Does anyone have additional information and is it really worth the $900 dealer option? :(
  9. From what I've seen, most are paying $600 to $700 for that kind of job. Labor is included. The price you have seems to be in line. I was quoted $650 and then talked with the guy at Stone-X that actually does it for the dealer. He told me that it's NOT for a "full warp". For $650, I get the hood, front fenders, door handle backing plates and trunk opening backing plate (fingernail scratches). These are not pre cut. They actually remove the grill and wrap it around the sides and cut. It does NOT include the front valance, pillars, headlights, foglights, etc. I plan to wait until I'm informed of my IS coming in and then I'll go down and talk about the cost of the "full wrap". Another local IS owner told me that he had issues with this dealer not only with the clear bra (redone 3 times), but also with the tint installation. I'll get the issues resolved prior to giving them the go ahead or I'll take it to a local, highly recommended clear bra and tint specialist. :o
  10. Are you saying that they are asking $40,000 above MSRP, for a total of $82,000 ??? Maybe it's the delivery charges. I understand that Planet Claire is light years away. ;) Yes, $82,000 !!!! For a Mustang !!!! I could buy the Z06 for that. There still from another planet other than mine. Hey, your from my home state, Planet Medford.
  11. Ya, I put down $1K last May for a Shelby GT500 and the dealer is now taking orders. 20K markup over 42K MSRP for "friends" of the dealer. All others, 40K over MSRP. Which hole did they crawl out of? I put my money down on a new IS350 and it's my first non-American car. I'll never buy the "Blue Oval" again.
  12. I ordered my IS350 in SGM w/Black interior, Lux/ML/Nav on Feb 14th and was told 3 months. One month gone, two to go and I'm hoping it will come in a couple of weeks early.
