  1. Damn hook up!!! <_<
  2. OOOhhhh, ok, yes, that is different. That sounds like an ignition switch then. Maybe pull the cylinder lock and see if it needs to be replaced.

  4. #1) 7.5 #2) yes #3) There are alot, Eibach, is cheap and good, other than that Tien, Tenabe, and a few others. #4) Here's the problem with Tony's magic numbers: You can only go so far with the stock camber adjustments anyway. I dropped a hair over an inch, all around. And the stock camber lobes were adjusted all the way to max to barely bring it back into to spec. His magic numbers only work from the stock ride height. Other than that, if you drop the car, you'll be good to just bring it back into spec. There won't be anymore adjustment to go any further.
  5. The voltage regulators are inside the alternators today. They are actually combined as one unit now.

  7. I'm almost certian you have an alternator issue, or the alternator is not recharging the battery due to a bad or improper connection. The only job of the battery is to start the car. Once the car is started, the alternator takes over, and recharges the battery. Unless the alternator is not producing enouph charge, then the battery will suppliment the needs of the car, and hence eventually drain and die. If you take it to your mechanic, or the dealership, they can test the alternator and the connections to find the issue. It can't really be anything else, unless they have some lights or something wired directly to the battery and you are leaving it on while the car is off without knowing it.

  9. I'm not familiar with that area, but I can tell you that the SRT system isn't that hard to put on yourself. Go over the instructions and see if they were followed. Next I would have the cel read and see what code is being thrown with an ODBII scanner. And try and find out what is happening.

  11. Well, heres my take on this: Mburnickas and SWO3 have posted long enouph and probably more than enyone I have met on just this subject. I have often gone other places and found what they said to be true and very accurate. I think someone would have to post irrefutable evidence before I could go along with something other than what Mburnickas states. Iv'e learned alot from his posts.
  12. get used to the new intake? Where are you taking it to get done? You shouldn't be getting a cel with the SRT system. Call SRT and talk to Moe. He'll help you out.

  14. Sounds like you have a bad wire or connection in the charging system off the altanator. MAybe the person who owned the car before you had an aftermarket stereo system in it, and when they pulled the stereo and amps maybe pulled one of them loose?
  15. I think it helps if you have 3 gremlins to help out. They can climb in and hold it there while the other puts the screws in and the last one grabs the wiring. LOL!!! The amp is a huge PIA!!! But it can be done. I wish I had a quick tip for ya. the head unit is easy. But make sure you tape the edges of the dash off. The dash scratches really easily and it looks terrible!!
  16. If you just want to dry the inside of the light out, then just turn your high beams on for awhile , and the heat from the holegen bulbs will dry them out in no time. The reason your low beams won't of course is because they are hid, and don't produce enouph heat. Next I would take a small drill bit, and drill a small hole underneath the housing. This will let some more air circulate and keep it from happening again. And all that won't cost you anything except the time to do it.
  17. Flop 170 sent me an emblem that a freind of his makes or gets, or something. Looked great. I mean stock as stock is anyway.
  18. Yeah, from what I can tell from that pic, it looks to be just a valve cover leak. And it actually looks like there is more of sloppy oil add then a leak.See how it comes all the down the side of the oil fill spout? And how much dirt has caked on it? That usually suggests that the oil has been there for awhile. I would only be concerned if you see fresh black oil pooled or actual drip lines coming from the seal. try using some parts cleaner and wipe that whole area down real good. Get it good and clean. Then check it every few days for awile and see how quickly it returns if at all. You may find that you need a new oil cap too.
