always remember when i visited the HQ of Lexus UK and inside their offices they had a real SC430 hanging upside down from the office ceiling, i was having a chat with the director of Lexus GB at how they have a car hanging from their ceiling and his comments were "we are hoping to drop it on clarkson" He doesn't like Lexus, but funny how TopGear a few years ago did a viewers survey classed the IS200 as the best car in their satisfied owner survey. wiped all other cars off the board.

i had a 5 speed one of these and i absolutely loved it... best car ever owned! very quick and fun to drive. Handling is pretty good. I must say I love those deep dish rims!!!

With your speed limit, the 220d is very good, 7.5-8 litres per 100Km, the SE version, a little bit worse with the sport gearbox. The gearbox is smoth, not noisy at all. The new cars dont have any injector problem. Lexus 220d SE MM owner. The gearboxes will get noisey over time. I agree they may have fixed the 5th injector issue (or so they say)

From my experience i would not bother. 1. Gearbox is rather agricultural, clunky and very noisey 2. Fuel economy is not much better than the IS250 3. Problems with 5th injectors 4. Slow pull away.. turbo is great but you really have to kick it in the guts to get a quick pull away. 5. Lexus should have never made a diesel IMO.. ruins the brand Also Lexus will be discontinuing this diesel on the next model change. Diesel was not successful at at satisfying customers. Think they will go down the hybrid route.

Its a way the government extort lrge amount of cash out of people.. they do it with immigrants too.. thats why the UK has a huge amount of immigrants. The forest people are trying to protect emit more Co2 then cars planes and people put together. but they dont tell you that so they can sting you with more taxes. In the UK you are born then taxed to death.

sounds like you have buckled rim or need a serious blanace done to all the wheels. Go to the best place and get a proper balance done and also get the geometry done and you will find she will be smoooooth.
