  1. That's amazing JC! Glad to hear you're ok and that your damage was minimal. We have deer here in Florida, but I have never seen one on the road. I lived in Albany, NY for a summer and I would always see deer crossing the Thruway or running along side it. Occassionally I'd see them dead on the side of the road
  2. She looks good Brian. Personally, I couldn't handle the front windshield being tinted, but everyone's taste is different. Plus I wouldn't want to deal with the cops here in Tampa LOL.
  3. This is how i got my trunk open. Disconnect battery and left it unhooked for a few hours. I then connected it back and it activated the trunk release switch. In your case being the lock was drilled it may not release the trunk as a safety feature. Also you can call the lexus dealer and have them make you a new key. P.S. I would have beat my child's a$$ for all this trouble. LOL, you don't beat a kid's !Removed! for accidentally locking keys in a car! How many brilliant, accomplished adults has this happened to?
  4. I think that Lexus did away with the warning chime for the sunroof left open, in the '93 LS, so the LS in question wouldn't have that feature.
  5. Hey Blake, According to KBB LS in excellent condition asking price could be $10,115. If I were you, I'd do the usual and have it checked out by a mechanic, find out what service history the car has, make sure the timing belt/water pump replacement has been done. You can even take the VIN to Lexus and they will print out all that has been done to the car at a Lexus dealership. Back to price, that is the starting price for a car that is mechanically and cosmetically flawless. So take in to account whatever findings your mechanic comes up with and what ever things you come up with. Even at the $7995, I'm sure there is wiggle room. Good luck, and let us know what takes place.
  6. LOL, notice how the water has a greenish hue. :D
  7. If your wife likes puzzle solving types of games, Super Mario Galaxy is kinda fun, and it's rated G so you don't have to worry about it corrupting the kids lol. The Mario Kart game looks like a lot of fun, although I haven't played that one yet. I've played all the previous iterations of Mario Kart and they were always entertaining, particularly if you had company.
  8. Kick *ss! What a neat story!
  9. As far as I know, central opening and closing of all windows and sunroof with remote and/or key did not start until the '98 LS. The '95-'97 would roll down the driver's window only, with the key in the lock cylinder and not with the remote at all.
  10. Welcome to the LOC, Rabid! I have not used this site below, but I have heard a bunch of people claiming good service and reasonable prices. www.toy-lex.com
  11. Ya, I thought of that too. The battery is a Diehard Gold and it is less than two years old. It's still under warranty so I'm going to get it replaced tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else had ever had those symptoms. I guess not judging by the views vs replys. Thanks for your input. Your welcome... Keep us posted with what happens
  12. Welcome to the LOC n14t! I used these directions to remove the a/c unit on my '95 LS. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/headunit.html
