  1. Welcome to the LOC n14t! I used these directions to remove the a/c unit on my '95 LS. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/headunit.html
  2. Hey Hotrod, welcome to the LOC! How old is your battery? Are the connections/terminals clean and tight? When your battery starts to go or if the connections are loose, it can cause a bunch of strange things to happen.
  3. Welcome to the LOC, The Dunk! There is also a TSB for the problem you're speaking of. Lexus realized that cables were wrapped a bit too tightly so when the wheel would start retracting, it would ever so slightly disconnect itself and cause it to stop retracting. If you know of someone who has a membership or access to alldata.com could print it off for you and you could try the fix yourself. It may be you need a new motor, but this is a cheaper try than maybe jumping the gun and buying the new motor ;)
  4. Welcome to the LOC, Captain I love my LS, I'm sure you'll enjoy many years of her
  5. Mine used to do that too, I took it to Lexus and they said that that was normal as it was supposed to be a mechanism that would keep the car from rolling forward when reversing on an incline. I found that hard to believe, but it never got any worse and I drove the car 50k miles and was always the same. So who knows lol
  6. Sexxyy, Welcome to the LOC I feel sorry for the asian salesperson. You went in there and wasted everyone's time to save $100 lol. I know you have to try and save money, but everyone has to eat. Let's be honest, you didn't have any intentions of buying a car at that dealership as by your own admission, you offered them something you knew they couldn't sell the car for. I just find it a bit strange that most people think dealerships are supposed to give away cars. Just like Pho Tai said, they are a business and are open to make money. Aside from all that though, I'm glad that you're happy with your purchase, and post some pics of her!
  7. Unfortunately, yes it seems. There is another person on here whose posts always have an arrogant, condescending, combative undertone. Maybe writing is not a strong suit of his, but every post or response I've read of his, I feel the same vibe. I know a lot of things are lost in translation when you're posting on forums, as most of us are not professional writers, but this person's posting "tone" is consistently off putting. I won't respond to or acknowledge anything he posts as it just seems that you'll never get anything postive from them. It's not worth the aggravation! But aside from that little rant, this is a great forum with great moderators. I have learned vasts amounts of knowledge from almost all of you guys, and have been more than happy to share any information that I know. Happy Monday LOL :P Ray
  8. LOL no problem 3alawi. Now, when you get them installed on your car you have to post pics :D
  9. Happy 4th of July everybody! Schwinn-------->Huffy
  10. I like the Symmetrical rims, or the one on the right :)
  11. If I had a garage, my old '95 LS would be in there!
  12. Hello ITT and welcome to the LOC If your car has the factory alarm system, unlocking the car with a key should deactivate the alarm. Are you sure you're turning the key all the way to unlock it? I used to have a Mercedes that would be quirky with that. Maybe you could try unlocking from the passenger side?
  13. Welcome to the LOC, Applianceguy Do a search, this topic has been discussed numerous times.
