  1. Thanks JENunnez :) Artisans---------->Masters
  2. I don't think it looks bad, but at the same time I'm not really excited when I see it. But, it could just be a matter of getting used to it
  3. Your welcome DH... What parts of Florida are you? Tampa here!
  4. Hello Rain, and welcome to the LOC! Yes there is a way to roll up the windows besides using the switches. Insert the key in to the driver's side lock cylinder and turn towards the front of the vehicle and hold. It will roll up the windows and close the sunroof. I used to have that same Lexus before and i miss that feature. Ray
  5. Hello Raym, Are you referring to the directional and light swith stalk in the 9 o'clock position? So, if the high beam detent is engaged it will shut off the dash lights when the parking or headlamps are turned on manually? I did not think of this. However, I don't see why my wife would touch this. Regards, D H Hello DH, No, I'm referring to the dial that will be on the dash probably right behind the light switch stalk. It should be right next to the "Security" LED. That dial controls the brightness of the instrument panel and center console. Remember too that your LS is equipped with automatic brightness control for the instrument panel, so if it's bright outside and the switch is set all the way to dim, the instrument panel will still light up, it will just be slightly dimmer. If it's dark then it will allow you to dim the instrument panel to dark. Like JC said, many people over look this. Hope this helps :) Ray
  6. You're welcome Lee I believe it's supposed to be changed every 15,000 miles, but if you can find them at $14 I'd change mine more often. It really makes a difference with the freshness inside the cabin, as well as the A/C output.
  7. Hello, I'm not trying to be a smart*ss, but are you sure that the dimmer switch isn't all the way to dim? :)
  8. Welcome to the LOC, Idrive Like the guys said, I think it's a door look actuator also. Especially, if after you lock/unlock, the car tries again to lock/unlock.
  9. The cabin filter is behind the glove box. When you open the glove box there will be a plastic panel that is removable on the back side of the glovebox. After you remove that panel you'll see a white plastic door with clips, remove that panel and the cabin filter is there. Be careful when removing the filter because all kinds of leaves and debris will be there if the filter hasn't been changed in a while. Ray
  10. As usual, what a great writeup Smooth! I didn't realize you got a new IS. Black on black is the most beautiful, it looks sexy yet dangerous.
