  2. Hi All, The only big difference I can see is 4 HP more with the premium, not worth the difference to me.
  3. I have a 2009 ES350 that turned 25,000 on the clock, had the brakes checked when the oil was changed and they said there was still more than half left on the front pads. I do a mix of city and highway driving. On my old 2002 Lexus ES300 I had 70,000 miles on it when the front pads needed to be replaced, rears were still good.
  4. Hi Guy, It might be the copper or brass disc under the stering wheel, try to turn the steering upside down or sideways and give it a try.
  5. A 2009 should still be covered under warranty unless you have a ton of mileage on it.
  6. Hi, I have the NAV. back-up camera, and bluetooth on my ES350 true the NAV. system does leave somethig to be desired but in my opinion it is still worth it. Good luck!!!

  10. I have a 2009 ES350 and the speedo is also off by 2-3 MPH, had it to two diffenent dealers and both say i'ts normal nothing they can do. So I learn to live with it, no big deal.

  13. HI, I have a 2009 ES and was able to set the seat memory settings in with the smart keys , for both driver one and two. Are you sure you are holding the smart keys close enough to the bottons?
  14. The front might fit but I don't think the will.
  15. The filter for this car is in the fuel tank, and is not serviced unless the fuel tank is dropped.
  16. I just replaced my cabin filter and engin air filter I bought both from Rock Auto for 24.39 including shipping.
  17. Steve, I had a 2000 es hard wired for my Valentine radar detector and had it transfered to the 2008 es 350 by the same dealer upon delivery of the new car. The wire is tucked behind the headliner and routed over to the drivers side pillar. It continues down the pillar and is wired into the fuse block that is in the area behind the coin drawer in the dash. Having the dealer do this retained the warrenty in case of any electrical issues in the future. Hope this helps. Just a note, I have 25,000 on the car since its purchase in Oct of 07. It is undoubtedly the most comfortable driving car I ever owned. I thought the 2000 es was great and this one is that much and more. Purchased form Metro Lexus in Cleveland and can't say enough about their excellent operation. Hope this helps, Jim B. Thanks for the info. !!!!
  18. Welcome to the club, I also have a 2009 ES350, it is my second Lexus my first was a 2002 ES300 had 89,000 trouble free miles on it. This new ES350 is by far one of the best cars I have ever owned. Came back from a 1500 mile trip last week the car rode so smooth and quite it was a pleasure to drive. Good luck with your new ES.
  19. Hi All, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am trying to remove the overhead console to hard wire in a radar detector. I removed the 2 screws in the front but cannot get the back portion to come down. I didn't find any screws or anything in the back holding it up. Thanks in advance for your help. Steve
  20. HI, I am 65 now bought an '09 ES 2 months ago 12/15/2009, bought my first lexus 11/01 an 2002 ES when I was a young 58. Loved the 02 but my wife and I go up to Atlanta every couple of months to see my Grandson(we live in South Florida) and wanted something newer. HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR ES!!
  21. Check out page #45 in the 2009 ES350 owners manual. I did it with the two key fobs mine and my wife's, that way when either of us approach the car it sets to which ever memory that fob is set for. It sets the seat and mirror. GOOD LUCK
