I don't think you can order a part to put the lines on your nav screen like BMWs have. I may be wrong but I don't think that there is anyway to do it currently with the current nav system.

Same thing happened when I was looking to buy a Yukon Denali! The f---ing dealer or "Internet sales manager" lied his !Removed! off. To be honest I wasn't sure if I even wanted it but when I emailed about it I couldn't get a straight answer on anything. Then he twisted the payments quoted me monthly payments for a 6 yr loan when they were supposed to be on a 5 year loan. So anyway after I flat out Told him what I would pay for the suv... I was about 1,500 off of what he had quoted me. He emailed me back saying that the GM red tag sales event price is the best price that I can offer you which I have already given you. So I decided not not to get it and after about a month decided on the rx330 that was my first LEXUS! I don't get it either it just seemed like this guy didn't care if I bought the Yukon or not? My sister had bought a car from the same dealer too. Whatever...I am so glad that they didn't want my business! My wife Loves the new grand cherokees too...I don't know they look great but I want to see how the hold up. I have had 2 jeeps and I also during high school detailed cars at a jeep dealer. Wow I couldn't believe the problems with the new cars...but I still bought 2 and had to learn for myself.

Unless the whole lock mechanism has broken or is stuck somehow?

Do a search on the awd models and the trans problems. Check the service records.

I also buy all my cars, and even my Harley like this... Point blank here is the car I want do you have it, this is the price I want it for, here is my credit card for the down payment, once you send me the paperwork to review and financing terms. Bought my X5, rx330, cvo deuce, and my GX460 this way. Last time I went to a dealer to get a car was the Mercedes for my wife and even then I knew what I was going to pay. That was a lease...and I was dealing with my wife, a trade, and the car dealer!

Get her company to pay for a rental why your car is in the shop. On a positive note one of the few honest people left on earth hit you! I just don't think anyone truly understands how many hit and runs occur anymore??? By the way which beach are you going to?

I have had two jeeps one when I was younger and one as a spare...no comparison! I love my GX and it handled this past winter with no problem at all. We don't get near as much snow as you but this year we got quite a lot of snow...was kind of fun!

Looks great! I won't share my experiences that I have had with jeeps! But that has been years ago. I did love both of the Jeeps I had too.

I was recently in a 2006 Infiniti M35X and it had a slot for the remote as well, however, the remote only had to be put in the slot IF the batteries were dead. The rest of the time it worked wirelessly. Maybe the Lexus is the same? Probably not. I had a BMW loaner a 07 x5 and it had the slot that you had to put the key in to use the push button. I am not sure why the decided to use a design like that?

Have you ever had someone detail that car with a buffer that didn't know what they were doing? It looks like some one used a compound or a buffer on it and burned the clear up. My mom had a Avalon that dad had some guy detail and the car looked good when he got it home but in no time you could tell that the clear was damaged and a few years later it was horrible. My money would be that either the shop that did the work had someone buff out the whole car and someone used a compound or buffer or it was detailed by someone who did the same.

And how many gallons did take to top it off? If you had a gallon of gas left in the tank then you could just guess how many miles you have left based on your current avg mpg. I know I ran my GX until the miles left until empty showed 3 and I still had about a gallon left in the tank when I filled it. I typically don't run less than a 1/4 of a tank...it's not good on the fuel pump.

This is a BIG problem in the new Grand Cherokee too. With the steering wheel properly aligned both the speedo and tach are 1/3rd obstructed... X5's are like that too... It doesn't matter where I put the freaking wheel I can't see the gauges. It's weird...

:). Finally took the deuce out last night it was the first time I had even uncovered it in 3 weeks. The wife & I went out for crabs in Ocean City and stayed out for awhile was a great night too! I did take a few large insects to the face at about 70 mph on the way home though...that was desert! :)

Good friend of mine just got one a few months ago. They are awesome. Wouldn't work for me with the two little ones :) but one day! Welcome to LOC!

All I know is in MD any tag cover is illegal! I have had them on every car I have ever had and still have them on the X5. But had to take them off my GX...got stopped twice for them. CD the way I understand it the cameras takes a picture and it clocks you at specific distances so if as soon as you saw the camera and you were traveling 60 in a 45 you slammed on brakes you could actually slow down enough before the 2nd time it clocks you and you would be ok. I know a few troopers and that is what they told me. They basically said if you ever see a speed camera and you are speeding just hit the brakes and slow down as much as you can and it will throw the avg speed off. Haven't had to try it yet. Back to the question...IMHO don't like it at all. Pure revenue maker plain and simple! Why not just design my damn car to give me a ticket when I speed or roll through a stop sign? I don't have a problem with the speed cameras in front of schools though!
