I thought the 100x zoom were digital from AI and not optical. Still, next time need new phone it probably will be back to Samsung or a slight possibility it could be SONY. Still have a Vaio VGN-AW41XH-Q bought in 2008 or 9 functioning as fast as it did then. Windows 7 Ultimate, best Windows ever made; even today if you want to make a disk image to back your computer up and restore in Windows 11 you will use the windows 7 version of that: The Vaio is with my little girl now.

Have been changing batteries in Apple phones and am not impressed with the hardware in them. Samsung and SONY phones have hardware I think is OK. Apple have great software and that makes their camera function very well. Nor do I like their policy that is prompting users to constantly buy new phones when all the old one needs is a new battery. The store from Apple does not allow owners of old phones install many of the apps they have in the store. No I do not at all like Apple. Apples are another matter. But I eat all and do not only take a little bite. I think you pay far too much for the brand name. The computers are with low spec hardware and for the price of a MAC you can get a computer with more than twice the processor power and RAM and storage capacity and both Windows (which was good when Windows 7 Ultimate was what they made) and Linux are better than the IOS. Apple did try with Windows in their machines for reasons they did not talk much about. No Linux is not and probably will never be for more than the few that have many computers and do not mind spending time learning a rather not user friendly operation system.

Now, after more than a month I will correct my first impressions that were much too positive. The phone has an excellent screen and that is the best and maybe only part of the phone that is very first class. The not so first-class part is audio, that is like in any other middle-class phone, far from perfect; the Bluetooth does deliver communication and audio to the car without problems, but does not deliver all info on the screen like the previous owned Samsung or the other Samsung my wife has. The very poor thing in the phone is the camera software, and why I say it this way is why the hardware part of the camera is from SONY and the same hardware is excellent in other phones with same camera, but now ½ a year after the phone was introduced to the market the software has still not been upgraded, though on the Nothing forum almost everybody speaking about the camera in it mention that in low light the pictures are disastrous and even in daylight pictures outside, skin tones are completely wrong as are other parts of the colour spectrum. When contacting the company, the answers you get are from a bot saying they are sorry for the problems and take the information serious and will correct. Next phone will not come from Nothing company. I know this has nothing to do with Lexus but is just friendly advice informing that I have made a mistake, and warn other in here to make the same.

The more gadgets that are in the cars, the more can possibly go wrong. Went through Sahara in a VW Beetle (very long time ago) and whatever went a bit out of order could be fixed with a screwdriver and a piece of wire. In order to determine speed of car there are little sensors on each wheel plus probably a lot of other little things that are needed in order to have the computers accepting the data they receive. A neighbour has a very beautiful 2016 model of the IS250 and is happy with it. The CT we have is also OK. Still use Lexus for service in order to have hybrid battery warranted and they also give me a document that car is good for next year every time, so though service can be made cheaper other places, they have us as customers as long as battery is warranted or we no longer have the car. If the higher price for the service includes fixing little things, I find it is something I can live with.

Are the bulbs LED, Xenon or Halogen? No matter if all kind of bulbs have a limited life, it is very strange that both stopped same time. Could be source to the fuse. Have you tried to see if there is 12V on the fuse? First question is my own curiosity to find out how long time the LED bulbs in the CT probably will last as LED is either difficult to replace or very expensive.

Can of course not speak about quality of sound from MarkLevinson audio in cars from 2007, but the audio in the little car we have is great. The ML from 2006 was praised by Paul McCartney so it probably was not that bad. Have been working in a couple of studios and installed sound systems in cars for exhibition for FujuituTen, JVC, and SONY and the cars we put audio in then were capable of destroying hearing of people if that was the purpose, but in respect of tonal quality and cleanness of sound they were no better. More treble if wanted, much more umph boom bass, but audio in a car is in my mind not something to compare with a disco. Loudspeakers that can reproduce sound perfect will not last very long in a car and a car is not a studio so if wanting perfect sound, you need an audio system home with electrostatic loudspeakers placed correct and for the extreme bass you need loudspeakers size not fitting in ordinary homes. Anyway, as we get older hearing is not really worth paying 100K for audio-systems as 24-bit 192 sound for us no better than 16-bit 1411 from a CD. When reaching 30, those still working in studios have younger ears to help them.

At every gasoline station in town. Maybe 20 Shell and 15 BP plus all the other brands. All except the very cheap Petromax where they only have 95 but it is cheap 1.1€/L. 98 is around 1.34€ You must calculate yourself as we have no gallons. At the airport price is often 10% higher so they can make a bit extra on the tourists when they fill the rented car up.

Mostly Shell 98 octane, now and then BP also 98. Engine no poblems. Used additives 30 years ago.

Could be that Nothing is realising that they are on the way out. Holding black Friday on brand new models and hacking into iMessages from iPhone. The phone has great hardware, but the very good SONY camera is performing far below the quality of the hardware and their audio is not special. Only the Bluetooth part is better than on the Samsung phones I have had. MarkLevinson audio in the car is clearer with Neutron player, not the built-in audio from Nothing.

Yes you are Dave. Have had a couple of Note's and S series 8 and 20. Now am testing a Nothing Phone 2, but will probably soon be back with Samsung with the model following the 23.

Same here. When a car behind has a lot of light on it darkens a micro tiny bit, but not at all enough.

It really is strange that Lexus is not fixing a rather simple, and for them, inexpensive thing, in order to have happy customers. But as Toyota here is showing very clear with not having one Lexus in the showroom, only all the new Toyota's; Lexus is on its way out. If Toyota then get same quality I do not mind. The badge means nothing, but the built-quality does. The MR2 first edition and the MR2 Spyder were exiting cars where the 3.0L Supra Targa from 1985 was a stinker that should never have been made. Too bad, when I bought it, it was raining and did not try it without the roof part. Without the roof part that car was only good when parked. Latest Prius is not at all bad to sit on the rear seat in. Prius is one of the taxi cars here.

Lexus only care about sound system in the cars if they have MarkLevinson audio. Worth every cent, dime, farthing, penny, whatever. Sorry! If Lexus knew already in 2019 and in 2024 still have not fixed the problem, my coment may not be all that wrong, though it is actually meant tell Lexus to wake up and care for their customers.

Good luck. Before starting engine I would recommend change oil filter - fuel filter -and of course new oil - look at condition of spark plugs, but from reading what you have written before I believe that you have already done that.

You are lucky, that something is automatic. I have to change the clock twice yearly due to the stupid thing high noon is not when sun is high above, but a couple of hours later. How a 2023 model function I cannot help with. There might be help in the manual, though it sometimes can be hard to find as it is written in Japanese, translated by Google Translate to Chinese and from there to the rest of the world’s languages (also in Google Translate. Or at least that could be the reason same item is mentioned so many different places in the manual. Could of course also be that they think a luxury car should have a many pages’ manual and mentioning same thing several places helps with that.

Have no idea what this Enform is, but reason for shutting down 2 and 3 G network is money. Later 4 G will go same way as 5G is what is in most mobile phones. Probably the CT does not have any of these luxury features (or does it?) as you are now losing with 3G shutting down in the US. Germany stopped 3G 2021 from most providers in order to sell more new phones. Also, I do not know if a 2017CT model has 2 – 3 or 4G, but when rarely turning on navigation it still shows which street, we are driving in so maybe all is functioning. Still, I do think that Lexus/Toyota should try to make customers happy by offering reasonably priced upgrades when needed. Only happy customers are returning customers. 5G must be cheap to get as even the cheap of new smartphones are running on that, but maybe wiring and antennas are so different on various models that it will not be a simple thing to change. Anyway, navigation is so poor in the cars that any smartphone has better and offer free upgrade that the reason to use navigation in the cars is not the best option.

There may be more fuel in the planet than we ever imagined. Fuel that does not pollute when being burned. Fuel that has higher energy concentration than oil. There may even be so much of it that there is enough to transport all that need to be transported, heat where that is needed and cool down with air condition where it is too hot. And funny enough it is easier to get out than oil when we first are where that fuel is. The human race is lazy and greedy and when oil was found those that sell that and make money on that refused to look elsewhere. Now we know that burning oil and coal is not really that good for the planet, and even though our politicians have known (or should have) for a long time, nothing has been done if it could not immediately bring profit.
