  1. Not a good idea. You need a specialty transmission fluid tool to perform this procedure. And the transmission fluid temperature has to be in parameters to check for proper fluid level. Besides, your vehicle is still new, why are you even trying to replace the Transmission fluid? If anything take it to the dealership.
  2. It's best if you bring it to the dealership to perform this update. You need the Lexus NAV update equipment.
  3. Heres an LC500 in person. It's awesome. I can't wait to get into this thing and test drive. It was dropped off at one of our Lexus training centers.

  7. I need more info. Were you able to get any check engine light code readings? And is your car battery good and fully charged? Next are there any fuses blown?
  8. You should never put anything other than what is recommended in the service manual. If it calls for Toyota T-IV ATF, put that in the trans. I don't believe putting Amsoil is going to fix your trans issue. Maybe have the dealership run a health check on your vehicle, you should have some trans codes pending or current. Maybe there's a bad shift solenoid or the torque converter is going out
  9. Did you bleed the air out of the coolant system? And does your heater work? Maybe it has a blown head gasket. You should try block testing the engine to see if head gasket is blown
  10. Did you hook up the charger to the wrong terminals of the battery? Maybe you killed the battery or fried an ecu
  11. Clear the code/s and drive it. If it comes back on, you possibly have a bad coil.
  12. The GXs usually have a bad vibration issue due to high road force in the wheels. Especially after you've gotten a wheel rotation and then start noticing the virbration. But Yes, by simply balancing the wheels and correcting the road force, it will take the vibration away. Start with the cheaper fix before you get into repairing the cv boots or performing any type of suspension work.
  13. Is it possible if you can record a video and upload on YouTube of what is going on? See if you can take some pictures and post them on here too about the mysterious switch. In the mean time, If you have a multimeter check the battery without and with the engine running. hopefully your alternator is working properly, you should be getting a constant voltage reading above 13 volts. The battery light isn't on, is it? If all is good, perform a voltage drop test at the starter. Maybe you have corrosion on the positive contact points of the starter. You can also perform a parasitic draw test as well. Worst comes to worst, take it to a Lexus dealership and have them diagnose it. It's gonna cost you roughly $120-170 for a 1 hour diagnostic. You can get a definite answer if the issue is either your battery, charging system or your starting system. They have a true battery diagnostic tester.
  14. Pressure test the cooling system (don't exceed 15lbs psi). Usually you can see where the coolant is spraying or trickling down when under pressure. If anything bring it back to the shop/dealership that last worked on it and complain to have them repair for it free. It's not fun pulling the intake manifold off yourself, trust me...

  16. Does the vehicle currently have a misfire? You should ask the dealership or the shop/ex-Lexus tech for a health check report and data list showing signs of any indications of cylinder misfire. They can do this with a Techstream software. The piston recall was a fix for the carbon build and misfire due to the poor engine design. Besides that, does your exhaust emit any white smoke? Usually, you can tell when you have a blown head gasket. Have the local shop you are at perform a block test, then have them inspect for the oil leak. Maybe it's just leaking oil from the valve cover gasket, oil pan or dip stick o-ring.
  17. Oil leaking at the valve cover gaskets. Make sure you replace the tube seals, the upper intake plenum gasket and the pcv valve while you're at it. You might need 6 new coil connectors too, they are usually brittle and crumble when you're removing them.
  18. How often do you pump gas? Maybe gasoline bad, fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
  19. Check the health of your battery. Is it supplying the proper cold cranking amps and voltage?
  20. There should've been a service bulletin about this for the GS350 F-Sport. Basically it tells you that you need the updated/revised brake pads and shims. The new pads should be blue, I could be wrong about the color.
  21. Have you done any modifications to the vehicle? What's the year and model first of all? Have you done anything you think that could've changed the rpm's? How long have you owned the car and how many miles on it? Did you disconnect the battery by chance or install a new one?
