    It can be anything. But try checking if it's more related to the exhaust. I know the newer RX (or maybe the NX) has a exhaust sound issue. Even with the exhaust dampers, it doesn't fix the rumble sound.

    hard to say. Check the throttle body for carbon build up on the plate, clean it. Check the fuel pump dampers. Check for vacuum leak. Check mass airflow sensor.

    Did you recently do any type of service to the vehicle prior to the engine idling erratically/surging?

    And no, it shouldn't be making that hissing noise.

    I believe there is a big rubber o-ring on the master cylinder where it mates/seals to the brake booster. It might of rollled off when someone tried installing a new MC or that o-ring is worn. Trying removing the 2 nuts holding the master cylinder and inspect. If and when you do replace that o-ring, make sure you lube it with silicone grease.

    if you suspect a bad coil, try running the engine and unplugging the coil connector. Does the engine idle differently? You can also try swapping it with a different coil from another cylinder and see if you get a different misfire code.

    Park your car with engine running. Cycle the climate control back from full hot to full cold (make sure the AC button lights up). Can you hear the blend door motor working? If you listen closely there is a motor behind the dash that adjusts the heat/cold coming into the cabin. You can see it working if you peak to the side of center dash. Make sure it isn't being stuck halfway or at all. Next you might want to make sure your car isn't overheating. Is there coolant in the reservoir or inside the radiator? Check to see if you can find any signs of coolant leaking, and monitor the coolant temp gauge while your driving. If the engine gets above normal engine temperature it can cut the ac compressor off (in relation not supply any cold air) and if there isn't any coolant in the system your heater won't get hot enough....

    Take it to the dealership. I believe there is an ecu calibration update for this. If I'm not mistaken, the calibration corrects the sudden acceleration issue.

    Not all dealerships work the same way. Have another shop inspect your vehicle to ensure your vehicle truly does need all those repairs. If anything, you have the right to ask the service writer/mechanic to point out and show you the leaks around the engine. By owning any luxury or high end vehicle, you should already expect the service/repairs to be expensive.

    Does your ac compressor kick on when you enable the AC button? Does the condenser fan kick on? If anything check to see if your ac compressor isn't locked up. You can simply do this, by turning the outer rim of the ac compressor pulley (with the engine OFF!). If it's locked and won't budge....possibly a bad compressor. At any rate, just have a shop diagnose it.

    Go to a Lexus dealership and get a battery there. Shouldn't be more than $120, and it's 5year warranty. I mean if you go anywhere else your gonna end up spending $100-$150 for a battery. I believe your battery should be rated at 575 cold cranking amps. Try eBay for your door handle or the junkyard.

    I've done a few WS atf adjustments. It's not fun. Not only that, but you need a computer to view the data list (to get the temperature correct) and the special service tools. Probably someone tried replacing the ATF to your vehicle and did not perform it correctly, in return it damaged the transmission. Bring it to the dealership, this best and wise choice you can do now is pay for a diagnostic fee. They can provide you a true understanding of what is going on with your transmission.

    Bring it to the dealer, you may still be covered under factory warranty. Does the car have less than 50k miles? Possibly eligible for a transmission replacement

    Also have them perform a pressure check on the pump and rack. There's a gauge tool they can hook up in place of the high pressure line.

    Have the Toyota technician run a health check with their scanner and see if any power steering codes are present.

    Does the power steering pump make any unusual noises while the engine is running? Check the tension on the belt with engine off, make sure it's not loose and inspect it while it's running. And does the steering issue occur at any speed?
