New member..... the touch screen in my 2006 GS 300 got flaky a few weeks ago. Now the dealer says the screen is 'cracked'. Neither of us is sure how that happened. I can't believe my, at times, aggressive proding and poking actually cracked it but they say it is not covered under the warranty and want a fortune to replace it. Does anyone 'fix' these touch screens? I know other touch screens - telephones and monitors have repair facilities. Yes, Repair (some models) or replacements available.

I would like to mention that all Lexus cars have a CAI installed from the factory, If you are refering to a short ram air intake as a CAI you are mistaken, The short ram intake will actually degrade the performance of your Lexus. One must do there homework before bolting on what one might view as a visual upgrade. But, If you want to keep that SRAI on then you might want to reset the ECU after install.

I have an extra air intake assy. that houses the air filter, Is that what you need ? It is the box only, Not the snorkle.

On the bay.... When I make a little time for myself I will list the procedure for the mod, Just haven't had any time for my GS lately. Except for normal maintenance. The fall is a better time for me to work on the GS anyway. B)

Although I do not have a ES anymore, My GS has a 19.8 tank, When my low gas light goes on I still have around 5 gallons left. Because when I fill up 14-15 gallons is all I can get in the tank.

I can now see the photos..Thanks a lovely auto. I'll try to private message you now. Overpriced, seat tears, No Nakamichi Either, should be about 1500 less than listing. Good car, lower the price and it should sell No seat tears at all, If the buyer wants nak in the car that can be arranged, No problem. You have to see it to beleive it !!! One of the finest kept LS's out there. New price, $5k And you make arrangements to pick up the car as stated above. I am seriously considering selling my GS and have this LS in my garage. Yes, A 98 for a 92 B)

I have never had to replace a o2 sensor, Is the o2 socket too long ? The Lisle 43900 Oxygen Sensor Remover looks like it will do the job, Have you checked out any local shops in your area that rent out tools ? Then you could talk to somebody before renting or borrowing the tool. Sorry I could not be of more help.
