  1. As for my 2 cents, I believe your issue may be caused by your CD player becoming defective within the mechanics. I'm having the same issue.. i'm still looking into it. I guess we'll have to figure it out ourselves. Hang in there buddy.
  2. Long Story short.. My car got broken into last Fri and they took my aftermarket (Elcipse) nav system. AAggrhh!! After using a brick (which they kindly left on the floor out of respect) to bust into the back seat, they pulled out my Nav with the Climate control all in one and left exposed and ripped wires out for decoration. After getting back in the car (Filed police report, etc..) I started the engine (works fine) and drove to the auto glass shop to get the glass repaired. After the repair and driving the car home. The dash (speed odom..,fuel gauge..) decided go out. When I reached home I started placing electrical tape on some of the exposed wires when I accidentally crossed one and saw a spark. Uggh.. After finishing I tucked them back in decided to go to the supermarket a mile away and here we go.. after driving a mile I get to a stop light and the starts to chug dies out even after giving it gas to force the idle.. After receiving a jump and letting it charge up for about 15 mins still connected to the other Godsent driver's terminal. The Engine starts up and after about half a mile down the road it dies again!! Help!!! I checked the alternator fuse by the battery and it seems fine.. I don't know what to do.. My budget is super tight..! help!!! Please give me some suggestions to try out and not just: Take it into the REPAIR SHOP! I want to try everything possible before having to give my future child's college fund to save my 300!
  3. Nah, it's not quite a whistle, it's weird to explain. It really only seems to happen after the car has sat overnight and the low has been under 25F. Doesn't really worry me though, I've heard a lot worse come from a transmission, and it disappears once things start to warm up. The transmission in my moms Odyssey sounds like it has straight cut gears sometimes, like something out of a race car. Where are the "SuperMECHANICS" on this forum. Until now I am usually impressed because they usually have an "idea" or know how to guide you to a solution other than have our mechanics rip us off. But no advice on the problem after 4-5 posts???!! I've been having the exact vibration sound during this winter and it's ANNOYYING!!! It sounds almost like a small pin hitting a metal fan as it's spinning from my tranny area.. I can hear in my cabin and it goes away after some driving and when it warms up... HELPP!!! Makes my GS300 seem CHEAP for a luxury car!!!! Now I'm forced to turn my music up to drown out the sound HEEELLPP!!!
  4. I recently took a trip to GA from NY and on the way back a 3 lights popped on my dash. I quickly took my car to the autozone to get a reading and was told it was code 0051 which seems like a sensor has gone bad or my gas filters may be bad. What is it? I have searched forums but their is nothing on code p0051?! am I the first that this has happened to? Can anyone help with the details of what it is and how in detail can I get this fixed. HELP!!!
  5. Thanks I appreciate your help. Glad I can count on someone helping me out here! I'll definitely go pick it up!
  6. I take it that it that no one from this forum knows what this is.. and don't use cold air intakes and etc... I'm dying here and no one knows what this is issue is... All the pro's out there and this is the impossible question.. Help!!
  7. Can anyone assist me? I have a 2003 GS300 which a year ago I put on a cold air intake K&N without any Ecu mods. After the install last year I had a check engine lights of 0171 and 0173. Now after a year later and trying to set the car back to stock (to pass inspection). Those errors went away and now I have a obd code of 0037 and the Check engine and ABS/ VSC lights are on, HELP!! What does this code stand for and what parts would I need to replace since everything is back to stock!!!
