Bummer, I remember a few times in Chi-Town when you would see a car parked in a bad neighorhood, An hour later it was stripped and then another hour later is was burnt to a crisp. Either the piece of concrete fell off of a truck or someone put it there, A car is disabled then when they pull over they get robbed......Of course I am just guessing.

Me too!!! Especially since my version of XP Pro isn't exactly on the "up n' up", if you know what I mean! They've figured it out too, and if I don't tell every single program to never communicate with the "!Removed!-ship" for updates, they send some kind of bug that requires me to redu the entire machine. I've had this copy-able version of XP for 7 years now. I think I've gotten my money's worth, and it's getting tougher and tougher to avoid the "update bugs". When it comes time to cough up the dough to go legit, I'm going to assign that $300 for the operating system alone, to a Mac! Yeah, Christmas is coming sooner than I thought, If you know what I mean ;) XP isn't nearly as bad as Vista, Which is the worst OS on the planet :chairshot:

New member..... the touch screen in my 2006 GS 300 got flaky a few weeks ago. Now the dealer says the screen is 'cracked'. Neither of us is sure how that happened. I can't believe my, at times, aggressive proding and poking actually cracked it but they say it is not covered under the warranty and want a fortune to replace it. Does anyone 'fix' these touch screens? I know other touch screens - telephones and monitors have repair facilities. Yes, Repair (some models) or replacements available. Who / where can I get a new screen? who installs? who repairs? Right here, What symptoms are you experiencing ? I have replacements and am able to repair some screens, Depends on the damage. EM or PM me for more info.

Sw, Congrats on the Mac purchase, My next laptop will be a Mac also. I am sick and tired of Windows problems and reformating etc... Let us know how it works out for you.
