I hope it is a fuse , But I think it is the switch or the connector for the switch. It plugs in to your cluster . You will have to pull the cluster out and you will see the wires and connector for the trip switch, It is the first of four connectors for the cluster. There are two screws that hold the cluster trim in place they are located on the top inside of the trim, Take off the screw covers remove the screws and this will expose wire connector for the ODO switch. Check it out and let us know what you find. ;)

The 12 disc changers are made by fujitsu and the 6 disc is made by pioneer . When the 12 disc changers break I throw them in the garbage and replace them with a pioneer 6 disc, They are built much better.

Does the ODO light up? Or is it that the A,B,Trip switch does not work?

LexKid630, Why don't you take the ES and your wife the LS. Do you really like the RX that much ? ← I would rather have an SUV rather than a sedan. It just seems more practical for me i don't know. ← Then the answer is clear. Keep the RX for you and the LS for the wife.

Do you have more details on how the odo broke? There is a ribbon connector that the display plugs into on the circuit board it has a clip on each side of the connector that must be snapped in place, That may be loose ? I have never seen a odo display just fry out all at once.

I've found the best way to handle chips is to use Toyota filler followed by Lexus color and even Toyota clear coat. I also use a toothpick instead of the furnished brush ← I have found that modifying several size brushes works well. By that I mean to cut some brissles off to achieve the size for the job. I have a brush with 1 brissle on it just for line scratches and it works very well with satisfactory results. Just an idea.

← You can install a factory nakamichi system in the LS with the 6 disc changer. All you have to do is switch the headunit, install the 6 disc changer and add a sub preamp and change the sub. Your current speakers are compatable. So you don't have to remove any door panels. The FM modulator will never sound as good as the system is capable of. ;)
