  1. Very interesting, Shoud be a big help to fellow members. Nice find Sk.
  2. I was just told by my body shop man that I could probably get the shocks at AutoZone. He has been right on before. I've yet to inquire at AutoZone. ← http://cgi.ebay.com/Lexus-GS300-Trunk-Stru...1QQcmdZViewItem Here you go!!! ;)
  3. If the instrument cluster was removed without disconnecting the neg. battery terminal when reinstalled it would set the airbag light on. If you search there is a topic on the reset.
  4. The only real solution is full replacement, Do you carry full glass on your insurance?
  5. Welcome to the club,
  6. HILARIOUS... I actually had posted the entilre question previously and after about two hours with no responses I figured I would just post again in a much shorter format. The original question was about changing the DRL's because the manual for my GS400 says dismantling or changing bulbs could cause electric shock - so is this just a ploy to get people to use the dealership? thanks ← Just a precautionary statement that LEXUS lawyers put in the manual. You won't get a shock and they take 20 seconds to replace.
  7. Take it to a different mechanic and explain that you want this fixed, PERIOD. Good Luck
  8. Not too bad in the snow especially with the snow trac on , I advise running BLIZZAKS in the winter, Although I have a GS300 the same rule applies here. You will love the GS, You will probably wind up driving it more that the 35. Welcome to the club
  9. I have 2 blk on blk LEXUS'S and there beautiful as is yours but a B$#@H to keep clean. Nice ride.
  10. Check to see if you have a cabin filter [there is a filter compartment on the bottom/back of the glovebox] and replace it. Take some antifungal solution and pour it down the vents on the bottom outside of the windshield and run the air while doing this, repeat several times with clean water rinses inbetween treatments. Let us know how it goes. Welcome to the club.
  11. Dash USA is currently under litigation for copyright infringement and will not be able to warranty any of their products after the final judgement because they will not be allowed to build waterfall needles. FYI ← I have no affiliation with Lextech but I have had work done by them and I can say that there work is of the highest quality and They are honest and truly great in there field, I guess there is always the indifferent customer but I would not let that deter me from future business with www.lextech.org. Keep up the great work LLS. ;)
  12. Sk, I am really liking the look of the LS, I think the fogs are looking so sweet, Do you have a sponsor for your car? Huge compliments, I like the larger wheels on a LS but I really don't like them that big on a GS or ES. Maybe I am quirky in that respect. Keep up the great work. B)
  13. Thanks for provong my point :D Isn't "Hater" supposed to = jealous. Your ridiculously impractical wheels that ruin the Lexus' "road experience" are supposed to make you into the "man" that everyone envy's and wants to be, right? Dream on :P I see guys all the time blowing wads of cash on throw-away items like giant wheels (usually chrome) that are supposed to compensate for something they apparently lack. Either that or they're starved for attention Look at me! Love me...want me! It's just a variable on the kids that go out of their way to wear outrageous clothes, hairstyles, etc., that they think will make them the center of attention. I guess they do give us something to laugh at ;) ← Anyone can do whatever they want to there car, That's there choice. But when you post your 'Choices" You better be able to handle the public feedback. Personally I love the car and dislike the wheels and look. It is degrading a beautiful automobile. And I am sure the "LEXUS FEEL" is compromised. It's not "cool" and I do not "enjoy" Just my opinion.
  14. Why don't you just find level ground?
  15. You got taken on the rear brake job, Pads $40.00 and the rotors probably did not need to be turned, If they were warped you should have replaced them with new.
  16. I am not so clear as to why this thread is posted, Is it to show how the needles are illuminated? Lex, Are you having problems with your dash? Please clarify as to why you did this besides curiosity.
  17. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...topic=23595&hl= http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?showtopic=6875 ← ← Describe your audiovox system. ← My AUDIOVOX Model: PROV1021P Thank you ← Sorry ,No can do. If it was LEXUS factory system then no problem.

I am not a fan of wagons, But I could see this LS in my driveway.
  19. Stay with a toyota filter. ← Again, Use a OEM filter and follow reccomended changes. Done.
  20. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...topic=23595&hl= http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?showtopic=6875 ← ← Describe your audiovox system.
  21. A perfect example of a perfect post. Congrats on your patience and steadfastness on searching and application of archived info. ;) Mods, Please pin this.
  22. Come on, this is a car forum, he was obveasly not working on the ceiling fan, but I'm not sure about the sink and shower. I mean if he has a large bathroom, he could have ben working on the car in there :D I apoligize for making fun at this If you give more info we will really try to help. Like what bulb on what. And was power on or off??? ← I once replaced a bulb and was shocked that it worked. Now on a serious note: The more details you provide the better response you will receive.
  23. God Bless You for all of your efforts in the aftermath. The best post is one that provides a fix without asking. I hope everything gets back to normal for you sooner than later.
